#PHCarolinaCrossover: Day 1 Top Performers

<p>The #PHCarolinaCrossover took place today in the Upstate at the Upward Center in Spartanburg, SC today. Let's take a look at some standouts from Day 1 here from the Palmetto State in the Carolina Crossover. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="865296" first="Justin" last="Coleman"] - [program_tooltip program_id='2078736' first='Lowcountry' last=''] Storm - Oceanside Collegiate (pictured on front)</strong></p> <p>Coleman continues his solid play this spring with the Storm on the Grassroots Circuit. Justin was able to finish through contact all day long down in the paint. He's really starting to play with more confidence each time out. Davinroy was productive if it was attacking the cup or knocking down some perimeter jumpers. Calvin has a great nose for the ball and willingness along with body control to the basket. Brandon had a solid high school season for the Yellow Jackets, and he has carried over to the Grassroots season. Brandon can alter and challenge shots on the defensive end of the floor. He runs the floor very well and at times can handle the rock up the in transition. Johnson has a great motor and the ability to post up smaller defenders at times. He has a good frame already which at times he could cause matchup problems on the floor. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="650233" first="Jabari" last="Sumpter"] - Next Level Athletics SC - Holly Hill Academy (Santee) </strong></p> <p>Jabari is a great rim runner on the floor. Sumpter has already settled on a college for next year while he's playing on a team of UNSIGNED seniors. Ahmari is a bit of a LATE BLOOMER on the hardwood. Sanders is a slasher deluxe from Laurence Manning Academy. Miller a stretch 4 man recently gave an early pledge to Columbia International University (SC) according to Coach Rip Ripley. Miller played his basketball at Wilson Hall Academy in Sumter. </p>
