The kid is a walking bucket. Able to hit from a long distance off the dribble to take it all the way to the rack and finish with both hands. He has a nice little bounce to him on his way to the hoop, is very shifty, and can get to the open spot for a high percentage shot. Very smart player who knows how to get his shot off and doesn’t take many bad attempts. Really capitalize on driving to the bucket rising off one or two to get the finish, and also makes the necessary pass when the defense collapse. Has a nice smooth jumper.

A man amongst boys and he played like that this game. Was able to bully his way and get whatever he wants inside. He has impeccable footwork and threw in a couple of counters when faced with double teams for a basket. His build makes it easy for him to bounce off players heading to the rim but his nimble steps help him change direction easy for cross-the-rim lay-ups. He is capable of hitting the outside knocking down a couple of mid-range jumpers with a hand in his face. He definitely going to be a force in the next upcoming years.

The kid hasn’t made it to high school yet but is already able to compete with kids older than him and hold his own. Tall and long in his stature means that he has a lot to build on top of. Already a mismatch for anyone he’s put up against. Has a nice hop to him when he dribbles, never stagnant. A knock-down jumper from deep rather than off the dribble or a set shot, his jumper is smooth and able to hit from anywhere. Drives the ball very well able to finish with both hands, more finishes will be added to his bag when he gets older. Defensively his long arms make him a nightmare for some ball handlers. Can potentially be a great defender with his arm length and height in the future. Still some years left before he picks a high school but anyone will be lucky to have him.

Man eats up space and battles down low. Big guy for his size that has opposition just bouncing off of him. Doesn’t have much leaping but with his stature, it’s hard to move him out of his position for a rebound. He has some moves down low but more will be added to the bag as time goes on. His footwork needs a little more work but again comes with more experience. Has a nice little form to his shot don’t see him struggle to hit outside shots or from the charity line. Defensively he holds down the middle. Once he develops a counter move to when he stops and other layups down low to his repertoire he will be a force.
Trevor Poffel 6’4 F | Tulsa Impact Bixby, Oklahoma (2025)
Nice size wing forward that can catch at the perimeter or in the post. Has a nice shot from the deep, fluid shooter. Solid attacker of the hoop. Hunts for his shot. Big kid that can pull down rebounds. Hasn’t scratched the surface of his potential on the defensive end. Moves his feet very well and is able to keep up with some quick guards.
