There were three slates of games last night and it was another great Friday night in the gym. Below are five prospects that really changed the game last night for their team…
2026 Carter Chism | Southern Assault
There has been a lot of talk about Chism from different people in the Southwest and he backed up the talk about him last night. Chism can get by defenders well with his skilled handle. He is not afraid to go up and under on bigger defenders and did that numerous times last night helping Southern Assault secure an opening night victory.
2027 David Lunn | ABC Spotlight
Lunn was by far the player of the night last night at Lonestar State Showdown. Lunn finished with 26 points to help his team beat Texas Grind and easily could have added more to his stat line. Lunn is currently 6’1 and showed his explosiveness finishing with 2 dunks. Lunn has been the talk of the event so far.
2026 D’anthony Moore | Nike Pro Skills Tony
Moore was an important player for Pro Skills last night and came up crucial in a victory for his team. Moore is a really good athlete that got after it on both ends of the ball. I expect Moore to have a big tournament this weekend for a talented Pro Skills group.
2026 Sean Parks | Nike Pro Skills Tony
Parks was the definition of a game-changer last night as he helped his team secure a win against a talented DJW Stars Houston Elite team. Parks is a skilled guard that lets the game come to him and plays with a good pace. Parks was constantly turning defense into offense last night.
2026 Jaylen Simmons | Southern Assault
Simmons is a skilled guard that plays exceptionally well with the ball in his hands. He gets out in transition well and has a skill set that allows him to be a crafty scorer. Simmons came up huge when Southern Assault needed him the most.
