Landen Babusiak Landen Babusiak 6'11" | C Bosco Institute/Indiana Connections Academy | 2022 State IN – 6’11 PF 2022 Indiana Connections Academy – Team GRIII 2023 Elite: Babusiak played for Team GRIII 2023 Elite at Prep Hoops “The Stage” and I was able to get eyes on him the past Friday night. He came off the bench for them this weekend and in the game I watched, the big man immediately went to work in the post and scored his first basket attempt. Babusiak is a very smart and talented big that can stretch the floor and knows how to take advantage of mismatches. In the 2022 class, Babusiak was one of the top players that were still yet to be signed at the next level when the season has ended. The way he played this weekend, he took advantage of this opportunity in front of tons of coaches during the first live period weekend.
Jaishaun Edwards – 6’5 C 2022 Emmerich Manual – Indiana Red Storm 2023: Edwards is a somewhat unknown post that caught my attention pretty early during the game I saw. He is not the biggest post that participated at Prep Hoops “The Stage” but he was one of the more physical ones. Out of all the post prospects that I watched over the weekend, I would argue that Edwards was in the top tier when it came to footwork because he was so sharp in that area. When he beats the defender with his footwork and gets to the basket, he finishes with such a smooth touch. He is another 2022 that was looking for an opportunity here this weekend and I am convinced that he could come in right away at the DIII level and contribute.
Flory Bidunga Flory Bidunga 6'9" | C Kokomo | 2024 State #7 Nation IN – 6’10 C 2024 Kokomo – Indiana Elite 2024: Bidunga is the nation’s best kept secret and he came out and displayed nothing but dominance at the Adidas 3SSB event. In case you don’t know much about Bidunga, he is 6’10 post that is extremely light on his feet and plays with such raw power and force. every other play seemed like it was a Bidunga slam dunk. He is still a raw talent in the mental aspect of his game but as far as physical tools, he has all you would need. He came into this weekend with zero offers but is likely to have more offers than he could have even imagined coming his way this weekend.
Joey Hart Joey Hart 6'5" | SG Linton-Stockton | 2023 State #214 Nation IN – 6’5 SG 2023 Linton – GPP 2023: This past weekend saw the 6’5 SG out of Linton-Stockton playing for GPP 2023 during the UAA event at the Pacers Athletic Center in Westfield. Was not able to watch all of his game but Hart did a few things that really stood out to me. Without saying, Hart is one of the more confident shooters we have in the state of Indiana. Every outside shot he takes seems like it is always going to go in and he can get it off in the littlest of space. Not the strongest player out on the floor but has some sneaky athletic ability and explosiveness. He also has one of the highest basketball IQs I have seen at the high school level. He currently holds offers from schools like Northwestern, Indiana State, Ball State, Wichita State, and much more.
Aaron Fine Aaron Fine 6'3" | PG Noblesville | 2024 State IN – 6’3 PG 2024 Noblesville – Indiana Elite 2024: Saw a bunch of games over at the Adidas 3SSB event in Noblesville and can honestly say that nobody was scrappy as Fine in any of them. He is always playing aggressive on both ends and can score in multiple ways on the offense. Plays locked down defense is not afraid to go at the bigger players if he needs to. If he grows anymore I think he going to start sniffing some offers in that mid-major level.
