Asher West | Spokane Flight 2024
Asher is a 6’1 solid, do it all guard. He is quick, has good athleticism, and has a strong frame. Asher is a good defender with the ability to guard quick and shifty guards with little effort. He can shoot it from outside so you can’t lose him on defense, and he attacks the offensive boards with reckless abandonment, so you have to find him for a box out with the ball in the air. Lots of potential for Asher. I see this Summer leading him into a big Junior year in high school.
Max Entzi | Built4Ball 2024
Standing at 6’4 and probably still growing, Max is a high-energy, effort guy. He gives you 100% while he is on the hardwood. Max is an excellent offensive and defensive rebounder and outlets the ball to guards and runs the floor well. Max operates in the pick and roll well, using his length to catch passes towards the rim and finish through contact. Solid free throw shooter. Max gets the team hyped up with his high effort and energetic/emotional boosting plays.
Ajayi Simmons | Renton Select 2024
Mr. Simmons is a 6’6 stretch forward. He is a solid shooter from outside and can knock down the mid-range jumper as well. Ajayi is quite athletic and plays above the rim on offense and grabs rebounds with ease utilizing that same athleticism. He is good at attacking the lane when he is driving straight down the lane. If he develops a better handle this kid can take his game to the next level.
Ishe Kanhukamwe | FOH 2024
This 5’10 guard is a difficult assignment for any defense. He keeps his handle nice and tight and has the speed and quickness to just blow by defenders. He uses his handles to create space and shoots the ball really well off the bounce. Lastly, if you put Ishe in a pick and roll, he will find a good shot attempt or find an open teammate by drawing extra defenders.
Gavin Trost | Built4Ball 2024
This kid right here plays his heart out. Standing at 5’10, Gavin is one of the most coachable kids you’ll ever meet. He is a good catch and shoot guy, and has a high motor on defense. He is great at getting in front of the play and jumping vertically to affect drive attempts without fouling. Once Gavin gains more confidence and develops a better handle he will see his game elevate to the next level.
Colin Schmidtke | FOH 2024
Colin has a 6’7 frame that can play outside with high efficiency. He makes really good decisions with the basketball, moves well without the ball, and sets solid screens to help get teammates open. He is a solid rebounder on both ends, and makes some really good passes! I think he is only going to get better as the summer goes on!
Braydn Arrieta | Built4Ball 2024
Braydn is one of the most efficient offensive players you’re going to find at his age. He stands at 6’and is great at not turning the ball over and finding good shots within the offense. He is also a craft ballhandler that gets people to bite on his hesitation dribble almost every time. He gives 100% on the defensive end, taking charges, and vertically protecting the rim without fouling even at his size. He is a great teammate as well, talking on the bench for his team giving them another voice and set of eyes.
