One of the top returning scorers and rebounders in 4A from last season, Marshall Allen Marshall Allen 6'6" | SG Tillamook | 2022 State OR was ready for his senior year. The tough 6-foot-4 swingman took on the challenges in of him at Tillamook High School and helped lead the Cheesemakers to the post-season. Now he’s set for the next level. After narrowing things down, Allen decided on what the best fit for him and recently announced that he’ll be attending and playing college basketball at Pacific Lutheran.
“The biggest element that made me choose PLU was for sure Coach Murray,” Allen said. “I developed a really good relationship with him over some months and I believe he is a really amazing coach and even better person. I also enjoy the location as it’s not too far from home and love how the programs success is getting better and better each year.”

“I see myself transitioning well to their program and fitting in,” Allen said. “Coach Murray likes to have his players be able to shoot and take the ball to the rack, and as long as I’m getting better and in the gym everyday I see myself fitting in nicely.”
Looking back on his senior year, Allen is proud of the individual records he set but also happy about how he was able to enjoy the season with his teammates.
“I had a very fun senior year!” Allen exclaimed. “I loved going out playing with my friends that I’ve always played with one last time. Wish we would have beaten Corbett and gone farther, but oh well. Set a goal to break the schools rebounding record this season and it’s just what I did! Also got selected got the OABC basketball all star series. So I can say I left no regrets from my time at Tillamook HS and the ride’s been more than fun!”
