Continue ReadingMore than half of these players will be on an LDS Mission and will not be available till the Class of 2024. Some could actually step on a college campus next year and make some noise. A few will need some time to adjust but this group is a mature group that has next level potential. Some JUCO, NWAC and possible D2 guys on this list at the moment.
#16 PH 6’7 Dane Christensen Dane Christensen 6'7" | SF Orem | 2022 State UT || Orem High School ||
Dane was a solid big all year long as he was the tallest player on the squad he was subject to play the 5. At the next level he is more of a 4 that can step out and score from the perimeter. Dane defends well and his team played a system where he had to switch on multiple positional players and he held his own as his team was one of the best teams all season in 5A. Dane has a solid mid-post game and a mid-post shot that could come in handy at the next level. Pick and pop game is nice and in the post he has the patience and the moves to score the ball.
#17 PH 6’5 Kam Dupaix Kam Dupaix 6'5" | CG Bingham | 2022 State UT || Bingham High School ||
Kam was one of the best two-way players in the state in his classification. Kam added to his game this past year and he became more of a creator as hi steam needed him to add that to his game. He improved his outside shooting as well as his perimeter defensive ability. With his size and strength he would step into the post and work down on the blocks. Very elite back to the basket game that has really stood out all year. He has been hearing from a few D2 schools but it looks like they will have to wait a few years before he finds a home.
#18 PH 6’5 Carter Walker Carter Walker 6'5" | CG Orem | 2022 State UT || Orem High School ||
Carter is arguably the bounciest player in the class. If he is not we would like to see the other 5 that can jump with him. Carter has elite athletic ability and it showed as he was a show in the open floor. Defensively he was also a great rotational defender that was protecting the rim and also getting touches. He is going to be a find at the next level as he has a high ceiling.
#19 PH 6’8 Devin Carlson Devin Carlson 6'8" | SF Bingham | 2022 State UT || Bingham High School ||
Devin remained under the radar as an athletic small forward that could stretch the floor as a big. Most of the year he was showcasing his outside shooting. With an outside shot and a strong game down on the blocks Devin is a solid next level player that has a few offers to some small schools, but he is going to wow some people with his ability.
#20 PH 5’11 Sam Sivulich Sam Sivulich 5'11" | PG Northridge | 2022 State UT || Northridge High School ||
One of the best finds out there as he is an electric PG that can score. Excited to see him at the next level as he goes the NJCAA route. People will be surprised with his ability and some might kick themselves for letting him slip out of reach.
