With this group these prospect simply need a school to land at as they will be able to turn their solid high school play into solid collegiate play as well. Here is the last 5 rounding out the Top 40.
#36 PH 6’6 SF Peyton Knowles Peyton Knowles 6'6" | SF Ridgeline | 2022 State UT || Ridgeline High School || 2022 ||
Peyton has really transformed his game over the past few years. He was a near the block and in the paint type of player who has made his way out into the perimeter. Peyton has really bolstered his stock as he has become a reliable outside shooting threat, You pair that up with his high motor and selfless style of play you have a player willing to do whatever and guard any position to remain on the floor.
#37 PH 6’5 CG Tyler Newbold Tyler Newbold 6'5" | CG Bingham | 2022 State UT || Bingham High School || 2022 ||
Tyler Newbold Tyler Newbold 6'5" | CG Bingham | 2022 State UT was a key factor into what Bingham did all year at the #1 team in 6A. Last season Tyler functioned as a 3 and at times a 4 as he has some superb skill as big big guard who can post up players and finish with both hands over either shoulder. Off the bounce he can get by defenders and he keeps it simple on straight-line drives. He also uses some spins in the paint that free him up. This past season he really bolstered that stock with his improved outside shooting and his ball handling as he served as a PG at times. A lot of value in bringing in a player that can play 1-3.
#38 PH 6’3 CG Logan Prince Logan Prince 6'3" | CG West Jordan | 2022 State UT || West Jordan High School || 2022 ||
Logan burst on the scene when he was a sophomore as he showed he could really shoot the ball at the varsity level. His track background has really helped his leading ability as well as his speed. Logan has a high motor on both ends of the floor. Logan has turned that outside shooting into a solid foundation as he now gets to the rim and creates for himself and other players. This kid could be a steal in that uptempo style of play.
#39 PH 6’5 CG Gott Daw Gott Daw 6'5" | CG Kearns | 2022 State UT || Kearns High School || 2022 ||
Gott has an opportunity to land on a campus next season and really play that 3 position at a high level. Gott is a premier defender that has length and quickness and he can really make it hard for players to score. The kid fly’s around all over the floor getting loose balls and rebounds. Helps his team with extra offensive positions with tips and 0-boards. As a slashing guard he is tough and agile as he can finish well in traffic.
#40 PH 6’5 PG Darius Henderson Darius Henderson 6'5" | PG Hunter | 2022 State UT || Hunter High School || 2022 ||
Hunter had themselves a good one and he was a well kept secret for awhile but those coaches came in and saw that he had positional size and can guard multiple positions and he has racked up offers and a lot of interest. The kid has a good motor and with more development he could really turn into a top tier prospect.
