He didn’t settle for outside shots too often but instead attacked the basket and either found ways to score or draw fouls at a nice rate. On the defensive side of the ball, he did a nice job of defending without fouling, keeping his man in front of him by using his strength and lateral quickness.
Glenn HS Forward Anthony Davis: Plays the game with a very high motor which translated into him making a very high impact on the boards and in transition. He understands how to find a body to box out when a shot goes up and really excelled by using his speed to make plays.
North Davison Guard Life Yim Life Yim 6'2" | PF Davidson | 2022 State NC : He didn’t have his best showing but he definitely showed some flashes of why he should be considered a college prospect. Solid ballhandling skills with good upper body strength and size at the guard spot are all things to like about him.
Shining Light Academy Guard Will Rhodes: Provided a nice amount of scoring for his team, especially in the second half. Has a smooth shooting stroke, a fairly quick release and doesn’t hesitate about letting it fly.
Providence Grove Guard Zane Caudle Zane Caudle 5'11" | PG Providence Grove | 2022 State NC : One of the most impressive players on the day, he has a natural feel for the game that is very impressive. He made all the small plays that often get overlooked, converted some difficult passes and displayed some outstanding ballhandling skills.
Forbush HS Guard Cannon Doub Cannon Doub 6'2" | CG Forbush | 2022 State NC : He took home the Skills Challenge crown prior to the game and showed some of those skills throughout, making plays for his teammates at a nice rate. It’s always refreshing to see a player that looks to get his teammates involved and is all about doing whatever it takes to help his team to be as successful as possible.
