Thursday’s slate featured action from the ACIT and MPSSAA State Tournament. Here is a rundown of some of the day’s top performers. 

Favour Aire Favour Aire 6'10" | C Bishop McNamara | 2022 State #86 Nation MD | Bishop McNamara (MD) ’22

Aire closed out his high school career with a monster double-double. The Miami commit posted 18 points, 18 rebounds, and 4 blocks vs. St. Frances.

Mikey Allen Mikey Allen 6'0" | CG Fort Hill | 2023 MD | Bishop Walsh (MD) ’23

Allen is heading into the spring with some positive momentum after a breakout junior campaign. He hit 5 of 9 threes on his way to recording 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 steal vs. DeMatha.

Carlton Carrington Carlton Carrington 6'4" | CG St. Frances | 2023 State #84 Nation MD | St. Frances (MD) ’23

Carrington showcased his versatility in a win over McNamara. The highly touted junior went for 16 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 4 blocks in a win over McNamara.

Quinn Clark Quinn Clark 6'6" | PF Gonzaga | 2022 State MD | Gonzaga (DC) )’22

Clark posted a full line in his final high school contest. The unsigned senior had 9 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block vs. LuHi.

Cam Dorner Cam Dorner 6'2" | CG Oakdale | 2022 State MD | Oakdale (MD) ’22

Dorner was fantastic for Oakdale throughout their state title run. He scored 19 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, handed out 3 assists, and swiped 1 steal in a win vs. Huntingtown.

Ben Hammond Ben Hammond 5'10" | PG Paul VI | 2024 State VA | Paul VI (VA) ’24

Hammond continues his stellar play this postseason. The super sophomore recorded 16 points, 5 assists, and 2 steals in a win vs. Mt. St. Joe.

Alex Hawkins Alex Hawkins 6'2" | CG Oakdale | 2022 State MD | Oakdale (MD) ’22

Hawkins went off for 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists in a win vs. Huntingtown. He made a remarkable comeback from serious injury to lead his team to a state title.

Bryce Lindsay Bryce Lindsay 6'2" | CG St. Frances | 2022 State MD | St. Frances (MD) ’22

Lindsay hit the game-winning shot to lift St. Frances over McNamara. He posted 17 points, 2 assists, and 2 steals in the contest.

Rodney Rice Rodney Rice 6'4" | CG DeMatha | 2022 State #89 Nation MD | DeMatha (MD) ’22

Rice double-doubled for the Stags in their comeback win over Bishop Walsh. The future Hokie recorded 21 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals while shooting 4 of 9 from 3-point range.

Bryson Tucker Bryson Tucker 6'7" | CG IMG Academy | 2024 #15 Nation FL | Mt. St. Joe (MD) ’24

Tucker had 27 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists vs. Paul VI. Another productive night for the area’s top sophomore.
