Brent Moss Brent Moss 6'5" | SF Lima Sr | 2022 State OH , 6’5 SF Lima Sr 2022: Moss had a great senior season leading Lima Sr to another TRAC and district title as a senior. Moss is a great athlete from the wing forward position, throwing down multiple alley-oop dunks in the one game I caught of Moss this season. I was really intrigued by his physical upside and how he’d work in a high-pressure defensive system like Lima Sr runs. Finally getting some recruiting interest, Moss has added a full offer from Tiffin and is steadily gaining attention.
Dasan Doucet Dasan Doucet 6'4" | SF Fairmont | 2022 State OH , 6’4 SF Kettering Fairmont 2022
Anthony Johnson Anthony Johnson 6'3" | PG Midfield | 2022 State AL , 5’11 PG Kettering Fairmont 2022
I decided to pair these two players up because they both clearly took their games to another level as seniors for Kettering Fairmont. This duo helped lead the Firebirds to a district title and pushed Centerville to a buzzer-beater in the regional semis. Both Doucet and Johnson were incredibly efficient all season and were both taking heavy loads of creation responsibility, getting their teammates good looks often due to the attention they drew from the defense. Doucet is a sharp shooting wing prospect who recently committed to Mercyhurst, a good fit for the senior. Johnson recently picked up an offer from Findlay as his quickness and shot-making ability both stood out the last time I watched the pair play in person.
Daviyon McDonald Daviyon McDonald 6'7" | PF Dublin Jerome | 2022 State OH , 6’8 PF Dublin Jerome 2022: McDonald screams long term upside when you watch him play. After not playing as a Junior, McDonald transferred from Dublin Coffman to Dublin Jerome and provided instant muscle and athleticism to a perimeter focused Celtics squad. McDonald is still learning how to make an impact with his physical tools and that comes through occasionally with defensive positioning and boxing out, which makes his fit at the JUCO level so intriguing. If McDonald is able to get more reps playing both sides of the court, he could then make a huge impact at a four-year program if he puts the work in.
Jair Knight Jair Knight 6'2" | SG Saint Edward | 2022 State OH , 6’2 SG Saint Edward 2022: Knight had a breakout season for the Eagles of Saint Edward with big time scoring games with his elite level athleticism. Knight has gone viral multiple times with breathtaking dunks and his athleticism is obvious when you watch him play. Knight really improved his decision making with the ball in his hands and became really comfortable as a robin to Michael Bova Michael Bova 6'2" | CG St. Edward | 2022 State OH this season. Knight also shot the ball from the outside at a more consistent basis this season as well. Knight had a great senior season and makes a deserved leap up the rankings.
