At 6’9 you cannot miss him when you walk in the gym, Page uses his size well to defend and block shots. He has good mobility and can run the floor very well. He is aggressive and athletic, helping him get easy buckets and easy dunks.
Filip Pandev (TSF) – Pandev has lots of tools to be a very successful player. He is a big can that can stretch the floor and knock down very deep 3’s. At his size he does a good job of protecting the rim and paint, grabbing boards and easy put-backs. Pandev also has a soft inside touch that he uses to get his points when his threes aren’t falling.
Grant Moore Grant Moore 6'6" | SF West Forsyth | 2022 State GA (West Forsyth) – Moore is a legit 3 level scorer. He can score from wherever he wants on the court. He is a catch and shoot threat that you cannot leave open. He is a knockdown shooter and has no hesitation shooting the ball. Athletic and can jump out of the gym, he uses that skill to get lots of blocks and easy dunks. Strong player who finishes through traffic and contact.
Israel Welton (TSF) – Very high energy who is an all-around player. He does everything the right way to always make himself valuable. Walton is elite on the defensive end, talking and communicating holding everybody accountable. Is comfortable on or off the ball and can hold his own when alone on an island. Hustles for loose balls and long rebounds.
Justin Birch (Lanier) – Birch has a good showing at this event and caught my eye. He played really hard and competed every possession. He gets to his spots well and can knock down the mid range shot. On defense he applies pressure and gets lots of steals resulting in easy fast break points. Very smooth player, has a variety of finishes that he can use to finish strong.
Joshua Ward (TSF) – Fast and shifty guard with a smooth jump shot. He has a nice change of pace to keep his defender guessing. Ward is very hard to stay in front of while guarding. Plays aggressive defense forcing turnovers and bad shots. He gets to his spots well and doesn’t miss open shots.
Malachi Dooley Malachi Dooley 5'11" | PG Habersham Central | 2022 State GA (Habersham Central) – I enjoyed watching Dooley play this weekend. He was the fastest player in the gym. A little undersized he plays bigger than what he is. Very scrappy and aggressive on defense, making it very hard to score against. Gets lots of steals and fast breaks with his speed. Also very athletic, he uses his explosiveness to get to the rim at will and finish over bigger defenders.
Sylvain Kambala (Tucker) – Kamabala had an impressive showing at this event. He is strong and athletic and elite at grabbing boards. He plays solid defense and can hold his own on the court with anybody. He can finish very well through contact and put backs in traffic.
Tre Chatman Tre Chatman 6'4" | SF The Skill Factory | 2022 State GA (TSF) – Very high motor player. I always love getting to watch Chatman play. He uses his size well to be a threat on both sides of the ball. He can guard positions 1-5 with ease and is an excellent communicator. He can play point guard and run the offense but he can also play off the ball and score with no problem. Chatman never takes any plays off making him a very special prospect.
Nyle Hillmon Nyle Hillmon 5'10" | PG Pebblebrook | 2022 State GA (Pebblebrook) – Dominated on both ends of the court at this event. High basketball IQ helps him make smart decisions. He can finish well around the rim through contact. Also can knock down the 3 ball consistently. On defense he can guard multiple positions, being a defensive anchor.
