With the team rebranding it took a little getting use to but they have a solid roster of players that can all score. Surprised they were in a full-court press but they do have the horses to play that way.
6’9 Malick Diallo Malick Diallo 6'9" | C Wasatch Academy | 2024 State #131 Nation UT || Juan Diego ||| 2024 ||
Still raw but he is playing up with the 17’s and he will figure it out. Really impressed with his catches in the post as he will face-up and go to work at times. He spaces the floor well. Goes back to his righthand a lot but that is something that will improve with time. He has the ability to switch off on smaller guards. When he picks up a loose ball or a rebound he isn’t bad running up the floor with the ball and he has surprisingly good vision while pushing the ball. Really sticks with it and battles on the boards. Really patient on the blocks, I can see why D1’s really like him.
6’9 Aaron Dunne Aaron Dunne 6'9" | C American Fork | 2023 State UT || American Fork || 2023 ||
Aaron is more of a traditional back to the basket big that imposes his size on teams. He can back players down and stay under control. Nice looking little hook as well. Aaron has improved his vision on touches on the blocks as he can find cutters moving in and out of the lanes.
6’2 G Braxton Hawkins Braxton Hawkins 6'2" | SG Lehi | 2023 State UT || Lehi || 2023 ||
Solid all-around game as he is out there looking to get everyone involved. Nice to see him distribute and share the ball. Braxton has that game that gets you on the stat sheet in every category.
6’2 G Peter Broadbent Peter Broadbent 6'2" | CG Skyline | 2023 State UT || Skyline || 2023 ||
Peter showed some great shooting and driving to the rim. Really underrated as a creator but has that vision to get others going as well.
6’3 G Max Toombs Max Toombs 6'3" | CG Corner Canyon | 2023 State UT || Corner Canyon || 2023 ||
Max is smooth going to the rim. I think he is at his best when he is attacking the rim. He can really get his entire game going by going inside/out.
6’5 G Chudi Anosike Chudi Anosike 6'5" | CG Murray | 2023 State UT || Murray || 2023 ||
Chudi was out there hunting for shots and attacking anytime he could. He is an uptempo type of player as it activates him to take his game to another level.
