He blocked shots a high rate, scored inside the paint and even stepped outside to knock down some perimeter shots.
St. Pauls Junior Forward Marcus Galbreath Jr Marcus Galbreath Jr 6'8" | C St. Paul's | 2023 State NC : The back to back conference defensive player of the year showed why he’s won the award on consecutive seasons by blocking and altering shots at a high rate from start to finish. He has legit size at 6’7 with a long wingspan and showed some flashes of his offensive skillset that he possesses.
Pinecrest HS Senior Wing Nehemiah Thomas: What you see from him is what you’re going to get on a daily basis. He knocks down shots from midrange at a nice rate, defends multiple positions without fouling and plays the game within the flow of a team offense.
Southview HS Senior Forward Jarod Brown Jarod Brown 6'4" | SF South View | 2022 State NC : Plays the game with a high amount of energy and makes an impact on games without scoring. Rebounding and blocking shots at a very high rate by using his strength and athleticism, he could be a nice pickup for a JC program.
Hoke County Senior Wing Jordan Maynor: Has the size and skillset to be a legit wing on the next level at a smaller college. He understands how to get into the paint without much of an issue but also knocks down shots from outside at a nice level.
Cape Fear HS Senior Forward Justin Burden Justin Burden 6'4" | SF Cape Fear | 2022 State NC : We saw some flashes of what he can potentially be throughout the day and why he should be considered a legit college prospect. Standing at 6’5 with the ability to play inside and out, you can see the potential pretty quickly. Once he increases his motor and adds some muscle to his frame, he will only become an even tougher player to defend.
