Along the way, a few players stood out for making remarkable strides in their games and were able to put together some really great performances to help their teams achieve victory. #2 Zach Johnson Zach Johnson 6'2" | SF Lake City | 2023 State ID , Lake City: Johnson made his way into the top 3 this season after a great campaign and helping Lake City in a number of ways throughout the year. Johnson has a great feeling for the game and has the ability to go off for a big offensive night during any given game. Johnson controls the tempo and flow of the offense and can score at will with ease.
#10 Jayden Wright Jayden Wright 6'6" | PF Highland | 2023 State ID , Highland: After being unranked during the last rankings update, Wright was able to slide into the top 10 after a really strong performance during his junior season. Wright showed that he has all of the fundamentals and footwork of a truly dominant big and was able to help Highland achieve a lot of success. Many teams tried to throw a lot of different defenses at Wright, but he was still able to score and pass to help his team win.
#14 Floyd Nelson Floyd Nelson 6'0" | SG Mullan | 2023 State ID , Mullan: Floyd had an excellent junior season and was a big reason why Mullan was a tough team to stop offensively. Nelson did a great job this past season of finding ways to score from all over the floor, and his crafty finishes around the rim made it really difficult to block his shot. Floyd expanded his range again during the past offseason and an even more efficient three-pointer for his senior season would make him a tough cover.
#15 Kolby Luna Kolby Luna 6'3" | CG Kellogg | 2023 State ID , Kellogg: Luna had another really productive year at Kellogg last season and will look to make some slight improvements over the summer to improve his efficiency. There is no doubt that Kolby can score on anyone and everyone, and his passing ability has also turned him into a really strong combo-guard all the way around.
