Jayden Morris Jayden Morris 5'9" | PG Sacramento | 2022 State CA-N 5’9 PG of Sacramento
Morris has what coaches look for in a point guard. He has the ability to run the teams offense, he shows great patience and settles the team when needed. He’s a pass first point guard with the handles and strength to break down defenders to get his own shot, and into the paint. He’s a confident tough minded player who can be a disruptor for who ever is bringing the ball up court.
Dejon Lott 6’8 PF of Elk Grove
Lott fresh off a division II state title has stepped up his overall play. His play on the defensive side of the ball has elevated his team and his individual play. His presence in the paint, changing shots, going after blocks, and getting his rebounds has been noticeable the second half of the season. He has good size and strength to score inside, his range extends to the 3pt line. He’s a good passer and can handle a bit.
Mario Hairston 5’9 PG of San Leandro
A strong bodied point guard who has the body and handles to get to the basket from different areas on the court. He was solid on the wings and in transition attacking the basket and finishing through contact. He has a good floater and a paint jumper he uses to score with. He has good strength and leverage on defense to handle bigger defenders.
Kayloyan Penov 5’11 SG of Concord
It was our first look at Penov. He’s a heads up guard who stays involved throughout the game. He’s an aware defender who stays in good help defense, he gets his hands on a few balls in the passing lanes. He does a good job of getting up the court finding open space to shoot his 3pt shot. He averaged 16.8ppg on his high school team.
Ashton Haney 5’10 CG of College Park
It was our first look at Haney, an improving guard that plays under control, he has good vision, and handles in transition as he looks for open players running the court. He shows good patience. He’s a good shooter from the 3pt line, often spotting up in the corners or wings to knock downs 3’s. He has a good release, and he uses screens to his advantage.
