Sir Mohammed Sir Mohammed 6'6" | SG Myers Park | 2024 State #83 Nation NC | 6’4 Point Guard | Myers Park
from No. 39 to No. 3
Mohammed turned heads in the Myers Park High rotation in 2021-22 at the point guard spot. He showed off his poise as he posted 17.2 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 4.8 apg, 1.6 spg and 1.0 bpg as an all-around floor general that utilizes his size in more ways than one. With a high IQ for making plays and knocking down shots, while shooting 43 percent from the field and 31 percent from behind the arc, he holds an offer from High Point with a ton of potential in the class as the No. 3 prospect in the state.
Jayden Harris Jayden Harris 6'6" | SG Salisbury | 2024 State #220 Nation NC | 6’4 Guard | Salisbury
from No. 15 to No. 7
Harris is an electric guard prospect with a ton of promise over at Salisbury High. He put up 578 total points (23.1 ppg) as one of the top-scoring guards in the Central Carolina Conference as they went 11-1 and took home the regular-season crown. He’s a shifty guard that can score the ball in a variety of ways with his range and handling ability. Western Carolina has offered him with more on the way as grassroots season approaches.
Isaiah Evans Isaiah Evans 6'6" | SG North Mecklenburg | 2024 State #17 Nation NC | 6’6 Guard/Wing | North Mecklenburg
from No. 22 to No. 8
Evans was quite the productive wing prospect in the North Mecklenburg rotation as a sharpshooter and slasher in the paint. He showed off his growth in the region finals, knocking down 17 points (4 3-pointers) despite their loss to Weddington this past weekend. He’s shown his growth as a 3-level scorer that can fill it up and continues to climb up the ranks into the eighth spot in the 2024 class with offers from Hampton, Illinois, Tennessee and Texas A&M.
Carson Daniel Carson Daniel 6'1" | PG Central Cabarrus | 2024 State NC | 6’0 Point Guard | Central Cabarrus
from No. 60 to No. 14
Daniel is half of arguably the toughest backcourt duo in the state alongside his brother Chase and Jaiden Thompson Jaiden Thompson 6'1" | PG Central Cabarrus | 2023 State NC . He produced solid numbers while acting as their top defender in the rotation, posting 14.0 ppg, 7.0 apg, 5.0 spg and 4.0 rpg while shooting 63 percent from the field as quite the decision-maker in the lineup. The Vikings went 30-1 in 2021-22 falling in the region finals this season, they’ll be a duo to watch this grassroots season and for the near future.
Alex Olander Alex Olander 6'4" | SF Millbrook | 2024 State NC | 6’4 Forward | Ravenscroft School
Olander is quite the active presence around the rim and on the glass for Ravenscroft School. He’s a two-way threat that defends at a high level while also being capable of making things happen as a post threat and shoot in the midrange/high-post area. He’s a prospect that should gain some traction this grassroots season with Team Loaded NC.
Amore Connelly Amore Connelly 6'3" | CG Freedom | 2025 State #273 Nation NC | 6’1 Guard | Freedom
from No. 55 to No. 17
Connelly finds himself inside the Top 20 ranks in the class following an electric season at Freedom High. He showed off his ability to attack the rim and make things happen with the ball in his hands on numerous occasions in 2021-22. He’s a prospect that’s fearless getting to his spots in the paint and making things happen around the rim with his athleticism. He’s created quite the buzz as the grassroots season approaches.
Chase Daniel Chase Daniel 6'1" | PG Central Cabarrus | 2024 State NC | 6’1 Guard | Central Cabarrus
from No. 54 to No. 19
Daniel is the other of the Daniel twin duo that’s faring well in the 2024 class as a combo guard in the Central Cabarrus rotation. He was another pivotal piece in their rotation that posted 15.6 ppg, 4.5 apg and 4.1 rpg while showing off his prowess as another strong defender and scoring threat in the rotation. He’s a prospect with some impressive intangibles as a playmaker with his energetic style of play.
Jucqarie Love Jucqarie Love 6'5" | PF Southern Guilford | 2024 State NC | 6’4 Guard/Wing | Southern Guilford
from No. 63 to No. 26
Love is the latest stock riser out of the Southern Guilford High with his ability to make plays on the break and around the rim. He’s an athletic prospect with a strong frame that can operate on the wing and make things happen on the glass using his length and skill set. Look for him to make a splash this grassroots season with Garner Road 3SSB.
