Minot 12-1 (11-1 WDA)
Currently sitting as the top team in the WDA, the Minot Magicians have made a statement so far this season. With an overall record of 12-1 the Magi have notable wins over Bismarck High, beating them twice. As a team they are offensively sitting at third in points per game, first in field goal percentage, fifth in rebounds per contest, and fourth in free throw percentage. On defense Minot is first in points allowed per contest. For individuals Darik Diskette is averaging 20.5 points and 8.2 rebounds on 55.5% from the field, and Eric Wentz Eric Wentz 6'2" | SG Minot | 2022 State ND is putting up 16.2 points and 3.4 assists per game. Other key contributors for this Magician team include Morgan Nygaard, Logan Conklin Logan Conklin 6'5" | SF Minot | 2024 ND , and Jaeger Gunville.
Bismarck Century 12-2 (11-2 WDA)
Coming in at second in the WDA currently is non other than the Century Patriots. With an overall record of 12-2 the Pats have notable wins over Bismarck High and Mandan. On offense this team is second in points per game, fifth in field goal percentage, first in three point percentage, second in rebounds per contest, and second in dimes thrown per game. On defense Century is second in points allowed per match-up, fifth in steals, and fourth in blocks. In terms of individuals Isaiah Schafer Isaiah Schafer 6'1" | CG Bismarck Century | 2024 State ND is averaging 20.1 points on 52.1% from three, Ryan Erikson Ryan Erikson 6'10" | C Bismarck Century | 2023 State ND is putting up 16.8 points and 11.9 rebounds, and Anthony Doppler Anthony Doppler 6'4" | SG Bismarck Century | 2023 State ND is contributing 16.2 points and 2.1 steals per game. Finishing up the top three teams in the WDA is the Bismarck High Demons. This squad has an overall record of 11-3 and has had good wins over the likes of Bismarck Century and Dickinson. For offensive rankings the Demons are first in points per game, second in field goal percentage, third in three point percentage, first in rebounding, and first in assists. On the defensive side they are first in steals and second in blocks. One player who has been phenomenal for Bismarck High this year is Treysen Eaglestaff Treysen Eaglestaff 6'5" | SF Bismark | 2022 State ND who averages 29.9 points, 8.7 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 2.6 steals, and 2.4 blocks per game.
