Snow Canyon has the team with the most versatility as they can hurt you from the outside with a variety of players and they have one of the better bigs in the Class of 2023 in Lyman Simmons Lyman Simmons 6'10" | PF RSL Academy | 2023 State UT who could easily have a huge game and an impact that most other players do not have. Bowen Hammer Bowen Hammer 6'8" | CG Fairmont Prep Academy | 2023 CA-S is another player that is playing at a high level and stretching the floor but also making an impact at the rim. Owen Mackay has been one of the bright stars starting to emerge as he is a major athlete that can get up and finish with force.
Ridgeline has a killer one/two punch with Kaden Cox Kaden Cox 6'0" | SG Ridgeline | 2022 State UT and Peyton Knowles Peyton Knowles 6'6" | SF Ridgeline | 2022 State UT . Really like how Peyton is transforming his game and he is starting to stretch the floor a bit more with him as a shooting threat. He is tough in the pick n’ roll now because you can’t go into a drop coverage because he can pop and hurt you. Quicker than you think on the move. Kaden has been lighting it up and he still hasn’t hit his stride yet. Look for him to have a few more big games left in there as he can really hurt a team from deep with his excellent shooting.
Dixie has a lot of impact players that can come in and make a difference. While they did have a hot start they have cooled off a bit but it is that time of the year when Dixie starts to take it to another level. Kyle Lemke Kyle Lemke 6'9" | C Dixie | 2024 State UT has been growing up right before our eyes with hi overall great play on both ends of the floor. There are various players on the roster that could really hurt you in many ways and that is why Dixie is so dangerous.
Crimson Cliffs is starting ti get the right production from the right guys. Hudson Hawes Hudson Hawes 6'1" | CG Crimson Cliffs | 2022 State UT and Jordan Eaton Jordan Eaton 6'2" | CG Crimson Cliffs | 2023 State UT have been leading the team but they are very similar to Dixie as they have many prospect that come in and do their thing that it makes them a difficult team to prep for because it could be someone else’s turn to get it going. Dangerous team that has a chance to win it all.
The defending champs are starting to make some moves as Zab Santana Zab Santana 6'5" | CG Cedar City | 2022 State UT and Aaron Munson Aaron Munson 6'5" | SF Cedar City | 2022 State UT are really starting to play really well together. Don’e surprised if they pick up a few more wins and make it interesting in the standings.
