Tate’s Week 11 Notebook
In this article:
This past week, I attended the Forest Hills Central-Grand Rapids Christian game and saw the Rangers pick up a huge road win, altering the landscape of the OK White title race. Check out my notes from the game below and vote for the OK Conference Player of the Week.
Forest Hills Central 55, Grand Rapids Christian 48
Forest Hills Central picked up a huge road win this past Friday against a Grand Rapids Christian team that was playing its best basketball of the season. With the loss, Christian no longer has control of its destiny in the OK White title race and now trails Northview by a game in the standings. The Rangers improve to 12-5 on the year and appear to be trending in the right direction with two weeks left before the playoffs begin.

Conner Milton and Jacob Bonnett Jacob Bonnett 5'11" | SG Forest Hills Central | 2022 State MI have been one of the best duos in the area dating back to last season, and on Friday night, they showed just how far they can take the Rangers. Conner and Jacob combined for 46 of Forest Hills Central’s 55 points, as both seniors largely dominated their matchups. The duo feeds off each other well and seems to know how to use one another to exploit their opponent’s weaknesses. In Friday’s win over Christian, it was Conner whose perimeter jumper was locked in and Jacob’s dribble-drive that couldn’t be contained. When both get going, Forest Hills Central is one of the more dangerous teams in the area.
