Jon Spatola, 5’8 PG Marlboro 2022
Spatola was the spark the Mustangs needed in the second half as the Colts had issues containing him late in the game. The 5’8 guard was able to get the offense settled in when they needed him too and made crucial plays for Marlboro down the stretch. Spatola shot the ball with confidence from distance and hit clutch triples to tie the game in the third quarter. He moved his feet well on the defensive end and played with all out energy throughout the game. Spatola is an absolute gamer who makes plays to win games for his teams.
Alex Konov Alex Konov 6'7" | PF Manasquan | 2024 State NJ , 6’7 PF Manasquan 2024
Konov was a big part of the Warriors’ win over RBC as he got the offense started in the first half. The 6’7 forward has a good release on his jumper and made the defense pay for giving him space on the perimeter. Konov did more than just shoot as he also was able to finish around the basket and moved well off the ball. He fought for rebounds on both ends of the floor and worked hard on the defensive end. Konov is a stretch-four prospect who fits in perfectly with Manasquan’s offense.
CJ Ruoff CJ Ruoff 6'3" | SG Red Bank Catholic | 2022 State NJ , 6’3 SG Red Bank Catholic 2022
Ruoff was the go-to guy for the Caseys as he hit big shots for them throughout the game. The Catholic commit was able to get into the lane and finish around the basket. Ruoff did more than just slash as he knocked down several threes in key parts of the game. He drew contact with consistency and brought the ball up the court at times. Ruoff’s ability to knock down big shots is something that will help Red Bank Catholic during the state tournament.
Will Bradley Will Bradley 6'2" | SG CBA | 2023 State NJ , 6’2 SG CBA 2023
Bradley hit big shots for the Colts in the first half and is looking to continue to do that in the state tournament. The 6’2 guard has a quick release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. Bradley moved exceptionally well off the ball, setting himself up for open shots. The ball did not stick in his hands and worked hard on the defensive end. Bradley is a sharpshooting guard who will have to continue to hit big shots for CBA in the state tournament.
Jay Ratner Jay Ratner 6'3" | SG Marlboro | 2022 State NJ , 6’3 SG Marlboro 2022
Ratner had a big game for the Mustangs as he did a little bit of everything. The 6’3 guard dove for loose balls on the floor as he was unafraid of giving up his body. Ratner was able to finish through contact around the basket and used his size to power through defenders. He moved his feet on the defensive end and fought for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Ratner is a gritty guard prospect who will do whatever it takes to help his team win games.
