Elijah Gray | 6’8” PF | Hargrave 2022
Gray has come along nicely at Hargrave as they have done a good job showcasing his versatility at his size, and he had a nice showing especially in their final game in their win over London Basketball Academy. The 6’8” forward has a strong build to play inside and is a good finisher around the rim, he showed the ability to make shots from deep and in the midrange and he can handle it in the open floor and finish above the rim as well. He finished with 17 points and 6 rebounds in their win over Combine and 18 points in their win over LBA.
Keon Thompson | 6’0” CG | Hargrave 2022
Thompson is a very intriguing prospect as a combo guard who can make plays for himself and others and with his athleticism on both ends of the floor. He’s dynamic in transition where he has good coast-to-coast speed and is a big time finisher above the rim, he can make shots from deep and in the midrange as well and he makes plays on the defensive end too. He finished with 15 points and 3 assists in their win over Combine and 20 points in their win over London Basketball Academy.
Madison Durr | 6’5” WG | Hargrave 2022
Durr is another very intriguing prospect for Hargrave, as he has great size on the wing and he can make plays across the board for his team with relative ease. The 6’5” wing can handle the basketball in transition and in the half court, he can make plays for himself and others and make shots from multiple levels and he rebounds well and defends multiple positions. He played well across the board in both of their games and has a lot of upside moving forward.
Elijah Jones Elijah Jones 6'8" | C Mt. Zion Prep | 2022 State MD | 6’8” PF | Mount Zion Prep 2022
Jones had a big weekend for Mount Zion that went 2-0 with wins over IMG and Western Reserve, and he looks like one of the top available big men in the mid-atlantic this season. He’s a strong and high motor big who’s a powerful athlete in the paint and finishes above the rim regularly with authority, he rebounds the ball well on both ends of the floor and he is efficient and has a budding skill set moving forward. He averaged a very impressive 20.5 points, 11.5 rebounds and 2 blocks per game on the weekend.
RJ Luis | 6’6” WF | Mount Zion Prep 2022
Luis is a fast rising prospect for this Mount Zion group, as the 6’6” wing from Miami is showing he’s a big time scorer with a good all-around game as well. At his size he has the ability to put it on the deck and get to spots where he makes contested shots from all three levels, he’s a good athlete who finishes at the rim and rebounds well and he has a good feel and IQ on both ends of the floor. He had a great weekend averaging 19 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4 assists per game over the weekend.
Michael Dickson | 6’1” PG | Mount Zion Prep 2022
Dickson maybe didn’t put up the big numbers that the other two did, but he was an electric playmaker on both ends of the floor who has unbelievable burst and speed with the ball in his hands. He’s extremely fast from end-to-end, he can get in the lane at will where he can make plays for others and finish at the rim, he sits down and can guard 94 feet and he’s a one man press break and fast break with his speed.
