We often forget how good some of the role players are at Wasatch Academy but this week Matus was really shinning especially with his ability to stretch the floor and hit some big shots from deep. With a handful of Division 1 schools on him he is going to be one of those players that lands on a LM Division 1 school that finds his way on the floor because he can defend and stretch the floor.

While Juan Diego has been struggling they still continue to win as one 4 players scoring on the team is playing at an elite level in Malick. He is a 19 and 12 type of player at the high school level and he is only going to get better. With a raw game that includes him scoring from deep and anywhere near the rim as he continues to develop he is going to be a problem because he still has two years left at the high school level. The Mali recruit has caught the eyes of various Division 1 schools.
6’0 PG Taki Uluilakepa Taki Uluilakepa 6'0" | PG RSL Academy | 2023 State UT || RSL Academy || 2023 ||
Underrated PG in that Class of 2023 who is not only improving his game he is improving his game management and IQ on the floor as more players on this RSL Academy team are getting involved and his defensive presence is well known as he does not give up anything easy.

KJ has quietly been having a solid season as he finds ways to score inside and outside. KJ had himself a big game on Friday as he was able to knock off one of the hottest teams in 6A with his outside shooting as he went off for 5 three-pointers. This is a common thing when he is playing on his club team and if this is something that will be more common at the high school level Layton is going to be a team to fear.
6’3 G Kaden Erickson || Syracuse High School || 2023 ||
Kaden was a player we featured not to long ago as a prospect that is stock rising and starting to play at a high level, well, he’s at it again. Not only did he propel his team to a victory with 20 points but he had an impressive baseline rip from the three-point line that he was able to beat that help-side defense as he rose up for a dunk on the defender rotating. This kid could be turning the corner as he is making a name for himself.
