Our staff here at Prep Hoops Pennsylvania has diligently gathered information and worked extremely hard to develop a quality comprehensive list of 260 high school basketball student-athletes that will graduate this summer. With the playoffs moving forward throughout the state these young men rose to the occasion in the regular season and climbed up in our rankings from the beginning of the year. Let’s take a glance at the Stock Risers of the 2022 class for this ranking update…
Pennsylvania Rankings Stock Risers:
#13 Jake DiMichele Jake DiMichele 6'3" | CG OLSH | 2022 State PA / 6’3 / combo guard / OLSH High School
- Climbed 3 spots from #16 in our rankings
- A talented combo-guard that can “take over” a game and come through in crunch time for his teammates
- He continues to lead his OLSH Chargers to an undefeated and record-breaking season
- Recruitment: Jake has slight division 1 interest, but division 2 schools are extremely interested
#14 Jaden Gales Jaden Gales 6'7" | PF Bishop Canevin | 2022 State PA / 6’5 / wing forward / Bishop Canevin High School
- Climbed 11 spots from #25 in our rankings
- An athletic slasher that gets out in transition while finishing at the rim with thunderous slam dunks
- He looks to lead his team to another WPIAL Championship this week to follow up last season’s title
- Recruitment: Jaden has garnered a good amount of interest from division 2 college coaches
#18 Kevaughn Price Kevaughn Price 6'3" | SG Bishop Canevin | 2022 State PA / 6’1 / shooting guard / Bishop Canevin High School
- Climbed 9 spots from #27 in our rankings
- Has the strength and physicality to get to the basket, while finding open shots for his team
- A quality defender that causes havoc for his opponents and likes to push the ball on the break
- Recruitment: Kevaughn has developed a variety of division 2 and 3 college interest
#20 Eli Yofan Eli Yofan 6'3" | CG Fox Chapel | 2022 State PA / 6’3 / combo guard / Fox Chapel High School
- Climbed 8 spots from #28 in our rankings
- This high IQ performer is a proven leader and creates opportunities not only for himself but everyone else on the floor
- He can score in a variety of ways during a game and always wants the ball in crucial situations
- Recruitment: Eli has interest from division 1 and 2 programs due to his consistent performance over the last two seasons
#24 Vason Stevenson Vason Stevenson 6'3" | SG Montour | 2022 State PA / 6’3 / shooting guard / Montour High School
- Climbed 9 spots from #33 in our rankings
- The ability of this young man on both ends of the court has made him a nightmare to play against all season
- His mid-range and perimeter jumper improved tremendously during the regular season and he is looking for a WPIAL championship
- Recruitment: Vason is creating a buzz on the division 2 and 3 levels
#39 Armend Karpuzi Armend Karpuzi 6'3" | SF Deer Lakes | 2022 State PA / 6’3 / wing forward / Deer Lakes High School
- Climbed 31 spots from #70 in our rankings
- Throughout the season he has been a consistent player for his team-leading an impressive turn-around year at Deer Lakes
- He likes to penetrate the lane but still can knock down the perimeter jump shot
- Recruitment: Armend will continue to gather interest from division 3 schools
#41 Will Wagner Will Wagner 6'1" | CG Charleroi | 2022 State PA / 6’1 / combo guard / Charleroi High School
- Climbed 11 spots from #52 in our rankings
- His defensive improved and he became a quality defender in the half-court and full-court pressure
- Look for this young baller to fill up the stat sheet in a hurry during a game
- Recruitment: Will can be a division 3 player shortly
