Matt Haefner (Lafayette): A 6’7″ small forward who has emerged as a nice prospect with his combination of athleticism, versatility and perimeter skills. He elevates well on his mid-range jumper and he has 3-point range. He passes well and he has a high motor. He is averaging 17.4 points and 7.3 rebounds while shooting 41 percent from 3-point range. We’ll definitely be watching him during the summer grassroots season.
Ben Miller Ben Miller 6'2" | SG Pembroke Hill | 2023 State MO II (Pembroke Hill): A 6’2″ guard who is very good in the open court with his smooth dribble-drive moves. He can operate in tight spots and score at a variety of angles. He was named to the All-Tournament Team at Richmond last week after averaging 17 points during the weekend.
Layne Wigger (North County): The Raiders had to replace a lot of scoring after the graduation of talented guards Karter Kekec and Kyle Conkright. The 5’11” Wigger has stepped in nicely to continue the big scoring in Bonne Terre. For example, he averaged 30 points in three games last week. He has solid quickness and he can light it up from 3-point range.
Gabe Watkins (Herculaneum): A 5’9″ point guard who excels in the open court with his speed and quickness. He can stop and pop from the mid range and knock down the deep ball. He is currently averaging 16.4 points, four rebounds assists and three steals while shooting an impressive 49 percent from 3-point range.
Brady Wolf (Orchard Farm): The 5’10” point guard has enjoyed a big season in leading the Eagles to a 14-5 record. He’s a solid floor leader who can also play off the ball and get buckets. He is currently averaging 18.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.9 assists while shooting 36 percent from 3-point range.
