There was tons of talent throughout the event, featuring some of the best available players in the area. Here’s a look at part two of the standouts from the VA programs, looking at five guys from Massanutten that showed out.
Kanye Clary Kanye Clary 5'11" | PG Massanutten | 2022 State VA | 5’11” PG | Massanutten 2022
Clary has dominated in both of the Military Circuit sessions so far, as he has looked like the top point guard each weekend and helped Massanutten to a 2-0 record this weekend with wins over rival Hargrave and Legacy Prep, making them 4-0 in the past two weekends. The Penn State commit is a super dynamic guard who is shifty off the bounce and can make tough shots from multiple levels, he has good vision and playmaking ability and has total command when he’s on the floor. He finished with 25 points in their win over Legacy and 29 points in their win over Hargrave.
Kyrese Mullen Kyrese Mullen 6'6" | PF Massanutten | 2022 State VA | 6’6” PF | Massanutten 2022
Mullen continues to show he’s one of the best available big men in the state, as he has been consistently productive throughout the year and particularly in the past two weekends. He’s a unique player as he’s the muscle and paint protector for them but he’s also a skilled stretch player who can step out and make shots consistently, he owns the glass and rebounds over players taller than him consistently and he brings great energy on both ends of the floor. He finished with 25 points in their win over Legacy and 18 points and 13 rebounds in their win over Hargrave.
Aaron Bremser | 6’2” WG | Massanutten 2022
Bremser is a great reminder that even the guys off the bench at these post grad schools are all collegiate level players, as the 6’2” wing often only plays in spurts but he got a lot of time in their blowout win over Legacy and he took full advantage. He’s a multilevel scorer who can play through contact at the rim, knock down shots from deep and he brings it on both ends of the floor. He finished with 20 points in their win over Legacy.
Adrian Myers Adrian Myers 6'5" | SF Massanutten | 2023 State VA | 6’7” PF | Massanutten 2022
Myers is one of the more intriguing and underrated guys in the Circuit, as the 6’7” forward is extremely athletic and versatile and he also has the option to stay another year if he chooses to. At 6’7”, he’s mobile and runs the floor like a wing, he plays well above the rim with ease and finishes with authority and he can step out and make shots as well. He was huge for them in their win over Hargrave, going for 20 points and bringing a lot of energy with his highlight reel plays.
Troy McKoy | 6’4” WG | Massanutten 2023
While McKoy is the third option on this Massanutten team behind Clary and Mullen, he’s consistently been very good for them throughout the year and tends to step up in their bigger games. He’s a strong wing who can play on or off the basketball, he’s a good shooter who can knock down shots from deep and tough shots in the midrange and he can do a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor. He finished with 14 points in their win over Hargrave.
