Kaden has been an under the radar prospect this season and he was huge last night as he exploded last night once against taking out one of the prestigious Region 4 teams. Kaden has size and skill at the guard position and he can score at all three levels. Kaden has the ability to cause some issues defensively for teams. Stay tuned for another test in the next round.
6’2 G Hunter Schenck Hunter Schenck 6'2" | PG Weber | 2024 State UT || Weber High School || 2024 ||
Hunter only had 13 points but 3 of those points kept Weber alive in a furious come from behind win. Hunter might not have scored a ton of points but he has the skills to really change the game. He is quick off the bounce and he elevates on his finishes at the rim. Hunter is not afraid of the big moment and although he was face guarded most of the game he was able to get loose and make some big plays for himself and for his teammates. Hunter is one of the best multi-use guards in the Class of 2024.
6’7 SF James Gardner || Hunter High School || 2022 ||
If you’re looking for a diamond in the rough that is raw and you’re willing to develop, well James is a nice prospect that will be ready to play next season. James has a nice over the left shoulder hook. to go along with his active motor on both ends that get him easy buckets and rebounds.
5’11 PG Nick Holland Nick Holland 5'11" | PG Skyridge | 2022 State UT || Skyridge High School || 2022 ||
After a few games of cooling off Nick lit it up last night as he erupted for 32 points and he hit 4 three-pointers as he is one of the best unsigned seniors out there that can score the ball and stretch the floor even though most might think he is undersized. Teams have been calling and he is preforming and at the right time.
6’5 SG Merrick Sherwood Merrick Sherwood 6'4" | SG Mountain Ridge | 2022 State UT || Mountain Ridge High School || 2022 ||
Underrated SG alert. Merrick goes off for four three pointers as they have rattled off a few good wins in a row. Merrick has the game of a player that can score at the D2 level and he would be a major get for a D3 program. Mountain Ridge has a team that could sneak up on someone and Merrick’s game is similar.
5’11 PG Evan Young Evan Young 5'11" | PG American Fork | 2022 State UT || American Fork High School || 2022 ||
Evan had another solid outing directing his team as a PG against a zone abd he aso pitched in with three 3-pointers to help his teams cause as Taylorsville uses its size to slow teams down. Evan has speed and quickness to get n the gaps and create open passing lanes for others.
