Alex Argandar Alex Argandar 6'0" | PG Modesto Christian | 2022 State CA-N 6’1 PG of Modesto Christian
The 6’1 pass first point guard is at his best when he’s pushing and passing the ball in transition. He’s a good facilitator in half court sets with good post entry passes, and finding open shooters cutting, and spotting up on the perimeter. He’ll pull up for jumpers, and use floaters to keep the defense honest. He’s the team leader in assists 4.7 on Modesto Christian 24-5, 11-1. From 86-67.
Sean Quanico Sean Quanico 5'11" | PG Saint Ignatius | 2022 State CA-N 6’0 CG of St. Ignatius.
Quanico has been a consistent performer for his team. He’s always been a solid passer and can run the teams offense. He’s been aggressive when it comes to attacking the basket on the perimeter and in transition this season. He has a good floater going into the lane, and an improved outside jumper. He’s a reliable defender who can stay in front of his man. From 90 to 71
Nate Jean-Pierre 5’10 PG of Palma.
Jean-Pierre has taken over as the teams top playmaker. He does a variety of things that makes Palma 19-4, 11-1 a better team. He’s a good facilitator in half court sets. He has good vision and passing skills. He’s been more aggressive when it comes to scoring off the ball this season. He can get to the basket from different areas on the court, and is a good on ball defender and help defender.
Isaiah Batista 6’1 G of Kimball.
Batista has played well averaging 13.5 pts, and 4.6asts per game. He’s helped lead Kimball to a 20-8 record. He’s a reliable 3-pt shooter. He spots up well in the corners, he flows into his transition 3 sometimes using one dribble. He’s good at passing the ball up in transition. He has good awareness on defense. From 106 to 79.
Emmer Nichols Emmer Nichols 6'5" | PF Sacred Heart Prep | 2022 State CA-N 6’6 G/SF of Sacred Heart Prep.
Nichols has been a key player in helping SHP 22-3, 14-0 this season. At 6’6 he does a variety of things on the court. He can score on the perimeter and in transition. He has decent handles and uses his body to work his way into scoring area. He’s been effective working inside with the jump hooks and paint jumpers. He leads the team in rebounding 8.4, 2nd in scoring 12.4pts. From 102 to 82, he’s rising.
Anthony Garcia Anthony Garcia 6'4" | CG Capital Christian | 2022 State CA-N 6’4 G of Capital Christian.
When Garcia got all the football out of his system, he became one of the most productive players on the team. He’s a contributor on both sides of the court. He can handle the physical parts of the game, whether it’s helping on the boards inside or playing through contact when he drives into the paint. From 99 to 87
Mikey Johnson Mikey Johnson 6'2" | SG Vanden | 2022 State CA-N 6’2 G, of Vanden
Johnson has a solid body, with good strength and speed to be a productive guard on the court. He has the tools necessary to be a quality defender. He’ll often guard the other teams scoring guard, making him work for points. He has a decent pull-up jump shot around the free throw line. He gets good lift on his jump shot in the paint off the dribble.
Carmelo Clark-Tarver Carmelo Clark-Tarver 6'3" | SG Dublin | 2022 State CA-N 6’3 SG of Dublin
Tarver looks to spot up for 3’s more often than not. He’ll spot up in the corners, and look to shoot it in transition, and as a trailer if open. He’s a guard who can finish with either hand at the rim, makes quality passes up court. He has active hands, good foot speed, and is a player who traps well in open court. From 112 to 97
