Jake Fritz Jake Fritz 6'2" | SG Wamego | 2022 State KS , 6’2 G, Wamego, #145: Quietly has been producing at a really solid clip for a good Wamego team who is poised for a big second half run and will be a dog fight in the post season. Fritz, has not shot it from 3 like we have been accustomed to seeing, but has expanded his game this year with a nice mid range game, crashing the offensive glass, and being more aggressive off the bounce getting to the rim. Averaging 13.5 points and nearly 7 boards a game.
Xander Landrie Xander Landrie 6'0" | CG Rose Hill | 2022 State KS , 6’1 G, Rose Hill, #114: A very good guard paired with Smith and Simoneau, Landrie plays with poise and moxie on the floor. Is a really good on ball defender and gets in the gaps as well. Fills his role nicely on the team and has a solid all around skill set. Continues to be productive as a member of a back court loaded with talent.
Zach Clark Zach Clark 6'2" | SF Cair Paravel | 2022 State KS , 6’3 G, Cair Paravel, #135: A springy wing player who can knock down shots at a high clip from the perimeter to stretch the floor. Can get up and make plays at the rim on both ends, is a good wing defender, has solid athleticism, and plays with a motor. Has picked up some post grad opportunities through his play this season and could be a big boost to his game in the future.
Zander Putthoff Zander Putthoff 6'4" | SG Topeka West | 2022 State KS , 6’4 G, Topeka West, #101: With the emergence of Brooks as one of the top 15 players in the state of KS it could be easy to overlook some of his teammates who have also been producing at a high level for a really strong West team. Putthoff is an elite shooter who stretches defenses out which opens up a ton of driving lanes and space for the crafty guards at West. Putthoff has great length and size on the perimeter and can get his shot off over tough defense.
Avnoor Bhullar Avnoor Bhullar 6'0" | CG Blue Valley Northwest | 2022 State KS , 6’5 W, Blue Valley Northwest, #93: A stretch forward type of player with guard skill. Bhullar has gotten better as the season has progressed and the talent flashes off the screen on film. Has the potential to play at a big time level as the season winds down and we head into the post season. Long arms, smooth shooting stroke, solid passer, and good handle all at his size show off his potential.
Will Gavin Will Gavin 6'1" | CG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2022 State KS , 6’1 PG, St Thomas Aquinas, #56: A gritty hard nosed point guard who has had to battle injury during the last year. Now fully back into shape and into a hoops rhythm, Gavin has shown once again that he is real quality in the back court. Great pace, leadership skills, and willingness to make winning plays separate him from some of the other point guards. The shot is falling again and Gavin could have a big late season stretch. Averaging over 10 a game and over 3 assists per game.
Servando Gonzalez Servando Gonzalez 5'10" | CG Lakin | 2022 State KS , 5’11 PG, Lakin, #99: A 25 point per game player this season so far, Gonzalez is tearing it up out in Lakin. Really quick guard who gets on defenders hips, plays with a high level motor, and can fly around the court on both ends. Gonzales gets into the painted area, can get dowhill to make plays, and can knock down shots.
