Talk about a program that is fundamentally sound and puts in the work to get their kids in a position to succeed. Coach Paul Davis is building something special in the Los Angeles Community.
Team Name: Program Humble basketball
City/State: Pacific Palisades, California
Coach: Paul Davis
What is your program mission?
“The mission of Program Humble is to build long lasting relationships between players, parents and the Los Angeles community, on and off of the court.
As a coach I aim to spread my passion for life and basketball throughout the entire program , which carries over into teaching the fundamental aspects of basketball. As a coach who never takes a day off, teaching and assisting the kids in building a strong work ethic will enable them to create their own successes in their future.
In addition, building the confidence of each individual child is vital. My coaching philosophy is quite simple. If you fill anything with an insane amount of positivity, undivided respect and attention, sincerity and focus, you get a recipe for success. “
What can you tell us about this 2026 team?
This 14U team is the original team of the program. They started as an 8U team and stick to it. Program humble is my 3rd youth program. It is 7 years old. I had two previous programs before. One for only high school kids to help them go to college, and the other youth as well.
We thrive off of our fundamentals.
Team Roster
5’4 PG Jaylen Maxwell
Youngest player on the team, great feel for the game, gets downhill & super quick.
5’6 G Quincy Watson
Q is a big moment guy. He can knock down 3’s and makes the right play, shoots gaps defensively. He is fearless on both ends of the floor.
6’1 F Noah Kurian
High motor, rim runs and is a shot blocker. He is the glue of the defense.
6’2 P Isaac Fink
Fundamentally sound with a mid range game. He blocks shots and rebounds well.
5’7 P Jordan Hampton

Jack is a pure scorer that can hit the deep ball. He is a high percentage shooter that can get going quickly because of his shooting ability.
5’8 G JayShawn Kibble
JayShawn is a DOG. He’s tough as he brings that inner city mentality. He brings a lot of energy, especially on the defensive end. He’s one of the better all-around players on the team.

What is something this team has taught you?
I’ve learned to really run a successful program and staying true to the philosophy and culture of the program. No hold backs, no elitism, no bravado, no hype. Just old fashioned hard work focused on helping these players become well rounded student athletes and people.
