SubscribePlayer were out there this weekend making it rain. From the 2028’s all the way to the 2026’s the shooters came to showcase their talents. Here are a few of those shooting guards that made some tough buckets.
Quincy Watson || Program Humble || 2026 ||
Quincy was fun to watch as he is a high energy SG that can slash to the basket which is what allows him to get some space when he is shooting. Quincy has some great elevation in his jump shot. Really like that release and motion. You can tell he pays attention to his mechanics. Caught a lot of teams sleeping while he was killing it at the wing and in the corners on those long shots.
Hunter Caplan || The Truth Select || 2027 ||
Hunter was a bright spot up shooter that was working his game all weekend. Hunter was not only light teams up with his spot up shooting ability he was also making quick work of defenders in transition finding his spots and also getting his shots off the dribble. Developmentally he could have a high ceiling as he hasn’t really scratched the surface with his ability.
Maxwell Scott || Branch West || 2027 ||
Maxwell just needs a little bit of space to let it fly and he was hitting all weekend long. Impressed with his IQ to seek-out open lanes in the vision of his teammate with the ball so they could find him and he can light it up from deep. Max was hitting off the dribble and in the future he is going to be deadly coming off of a screen, especially if defenders decide to go under he is going to light them up.
Anthony Lee || San Diego Soldiers Salute || 2027 ||
this little guy was an elite shooter as he was out there shot hunting all weekend. Really impressed with his knowledge of the game following the ball and trying to get angles. Anthony was always ready to catch and shoot. Had a little bit of range as it gave him more space to get his shot off as well.
Khalil Hudgins || Colorado Premier || 2027 ||
Khalil was lining them up this weekend. He was making the best fo the looks he was getting as he was often the receiver of an open look after a broken play. Impressed with the way he was getting his feet set and working the pump fake on some shots. In one of the last games of the tournament he hit a few timely three’s that made. difference as the game was a close one.
