Jordan Walsh (2022). W 6’8. Link Academy
Walsh has all the tools to be GREAT at the next level. He is very long and athletic with a wide frame. He had plenty of impressive dunks on Friday night. He also snatched a lot of rebounds for Link. Walsh is committed to Arkansas and I believe will be a great player for them for the next couple of years to come.
Dailyn Swain Dailyn Swain 6'7" | SF Africentric | 2023 State #81 Nation OH (2023). W 6’8. Columbus Africentric
Dailyn Swain Dailyn Swain 6'7" | SF Africentric | 2023 State #81 Nation OH is a much talked about junior for Africentric for a reason and he showed that in their game against Oakwood. Swain is a tall and long athletic nightmare for opposing teams. He has v very nice touch around the basket and has a tight handle of the ball. He also has guard-like moves which are very impressive for his size. His length helps him greatly on defense as well, allowing him to block multiple shots and guard one through five. Swain came up big time and time again for Nubians with timely basket and great playmaking ability.
Devin Royal Devin Royal 6'6" | PF Pickerington Central | 2023 State #49 Nation OH (2023). W 6’6. Pickerington Central
Royal is a great player. He has a wide frame and is a big, strong, and long-player. He can score it in bunches too. He is a three-level scorer. He can flat-out shoot it. I love his willingness to use his back-to-the-basket game. He posts very hard and moves smaller defenders very well. He hit a nice fadeaway and used his back to the basket game on getting him to the rack for some easy point as he finishes very strong down low.
Rayvon Griffith Rayvon Griffith 6'6" | SF AZ Compass Prep | 2023 State #78 Nation AZ (2023) G/W 6’7. Cincinnati Taft
Rayvon Griffith Rayvon Griffith 6'6" | SF AZ Compass Prep | 2023 State #78 Nation AZ put on a show for everyone on Monday and reminded everyone he is a DAWG! Rayvon put on a dunk show during warmups showing his ability to jump out of the gym. Griffith is a high major athlete. His skill set is wide as well. He has a very nice jumper with great range and can score at all three levels. I loved his willingness to use his size and frame to back down smaller defenders and hit nice fade-aways. Griffith is a mismatch because he uses his size against smaller players and then if you put someone bigger on him then he blows right by with his quickness and speed. He is aggressive when he needs to be for Taft as he scored a game-high 25 points.
Christian Harmon Christian Harmon 6'5" | PF Buchtel | 2023 OH (2023). W/F 6’6. Akron Buchtel
Christian Harmon Christian Harmon 6'5" | PF Buchtel | 2023 OH is a big and strong wing. He has the great size that is a mismatch for most other wings. Harmon was hot all game long as he only missed one shot. He hit five threes showcasing his shooting ability and got most of his other buckets near the rim because of his great strength. He has nice athleticism that allows him to be able to play a guard position. Harmon finished with game-high 25 points as Dayton Dunbar just had no answer for stopping him.
