6’4 Rex Sunderland Rex Sunderland 6'4" | PG Davis | 2022 State UT || Davis high School || 2022 ||
The Division 1 prospect continues to show why he is one of the premier guards that is still looking for a home in that Class of 2022. Rex was huge in a tough win against Layton last night as he hit some tough 3-pointers. The best one was a three in transition as someone lost him and he stopped and popped one as he walked right into it. Rex is a proven player that has major game. D1’s need to continue to court him. Currently has an offer from Utah Valley University and Idaho State and continues to hear from various schools.
5’10 Diego Mulford Diego Mulford 5'10" | PG American Fork | 2024 State UT || Cyprus High School || 2024 ||
One of the biggest mistakes you can make out on the basketball floor against Cyprus is leave Diego Mulford Diego Mulford 5'10" | PG American Fork | 2024 State UT open beyond the three-point line. Well, then comes those 5 three-pointers he hit last night. I’m sure he could’ve been left in there and he could’ve hit 10 but Diego is playing well and he continues to light it up from deep. Kid moves well and gets his feet right.
6’0 Jovan Lee Jovan Lee 5'11" | PG Kearns | 2022 State UT || Kearns High School || 2022 ||
Kearns took care of business again as they ran it up as Jovan is usually getting his pints at the rim and jumpers and in transition he showed another aspect of his game as he hit 4 three-pointers to lead all scorers as the scored 96 points. Smooth prospect that continues to showcase different parts of his game.
6’6 McCoy Langston McCoy Langston 6'6" | CG Copper Hills | 2022 State UT || Copper Hills High School || 2022 ||
Last night was a huge game as Copper Hills was able to hold off a surging Mountain Ridge. McCoy was huge as he nailed 4 three-pointers. McCoy has done a lot of different things this year and they have all resulted in wins for his team. Ultimate team player that can handle and shoot. Great vision with his passing and with positional size at the CG position McCoy is a prospect that is really getting looks at the next level from various levels.
6’3 Luke Leatherwood Luke Leatherwood 6'4" | SG Bingham | 2022 State UT || Bingham High School || 2022 ||
Fresh off of an offer Luke went off for 4 three’s last night as he continues to really show why so many college coaches are interested in the athletic shooting guard. He is bouncey and he can shoot the ball. Luke is starting to develop even more at the defensive end understanding situations and coverages. Keep an eye on this prospect as he continues to blow up.
