Timberline vs. Emmett: Timberline pulled off a grand victory over Emmett recently during the Owyhee Tournament. Timberline used a stunning offensive performance paired with a strong defensive showing to rout Emmett and continue their quest for a great run in their district. Emmett was led by Caden Young Caden Young 6'3" | SG Emmett | 2022 State ID scoring 12 points from both outside, and at the rim. Young did a great job of distributing the ball to his teammates as well and showed a high basketball IQ. For Timberline, Blake Kiesau Blake Kiesau 5'11" | PG Timberline | 2023 State ID scored 13 points to jump start their offense. Flynn Davis added 10 points on an efficient shooting night and AJ LaBeau AJ LaBeau 7'0" | C Timberline | 2023 State ID contributed 8 points while also grabbing a lot of rebounds on both ends of the floor.
Eagle vs. Post Falls: Eagle snagged a hard-fought win over a solid Post Falls team recently in Boise. Post Falls struggled to keep up with Eagle’s offensive fire power and did not do enough defensively to help them achieve victory. Eagle was led by Donovan Jones scoring 15 points, including a solid array of buckets directly at the rim, as well as a couple of great looking shots from outside. Post Falls was led by 11 points from Neil McCarthy who played hard throughout the game and also added a handful of assists and rebounds to his stat line.
