Jack Seidler Jack Seidler 6'5" | SF Marlboro | 2022 State NJ , 6’5 SF Marlboro 2022
Seidler carried the Mustangs’ offense throughout the game as he was able to get into a rhythm in the second half. The 6’5 wing was able to find a hole in the zone in the half court and drew contact with regularity. Seidler showed off a nice release on his jumper and knocked down a couple shots from behind the arc. He worked hard to grab rebounds on both ends of the floor and made several nice passes throughout the course of the game. Seidler is a skilled wing prospect who should continue to put up big numbers for Marlboro as the season rolls on.
Colin Cavanaugh Colin Cavanaugh 5'10" | PG Red Bank Catholic | 2024 State NJ , 5’9 PG Red Bank Catholic 2024
Cavanaugh came up clutch for the Caseys yesterday as he hit big shots down the stretch for them. The 5’9 lefty has a smooth shooting stroke and knocked down a couple jumpers from distance. Cavanaugh moved well off the ball and did not make poor decisions with the ball in his hands. He hit a key layup down the stretch and did a solid job on the defensive end. Cavanaugh’s ability to knock down jumpers from behind the arc is something that will help his stock in a big way as the season progresses for Red Bank Catholic.
Justin Furbacher, 6’2 SF CBA 2025
Furbacher had several key moments for the Colts as he was able to make plays late down the stretch of the game. The 6’2 forward fought for rebounds on both ends of the floor and has a nice touch around the basket. Furbacher played good interior defense as he altered several shots around the basket. He moves well within the flow of the offense and does not force shots in the half court. Furbacher’s growth over the course of the season is something that will be key for CBA in 2022.
Griffin Linstra, 6’2 CG Manasquan 2025
Ryan Frauenheim Ryan Frauenheim 5'10" | PG Manasquan | 2024 State NJ and Matt Solomon Matt Solomon 6'6" | PF Manasquan | 2022 State NJ also deserve a shoutout, but Linstra’s play was huge. The 6’2 guard was a force on the defensive end as he made it tough for his man to get the ball and moved his feet well on the defensive end. Linstra made good decisions with the ball in his hands and played well off of Frauenheim. He hit a big triple late in the game and shot the ball with confidence. Linstra’s ability to make plays on both ends of the floor is something that will help Manasquan throughout the course of the season.
Dylan Seay Dylan Seay 6'5" | PF Camden | 2024 NJ , 6’5 SF/PF St. John Vianney 2024
Seay had a strong game against the Colts as they struggled to contain him down low. The 6’5 forward has a physical frame which he used to get position down low and muscle layups through contact. Seay showed off a nice touch on his free throws and showed off an ability to shoot from behind the arc. He ripped down rebounds on both ends of the floor and moved his feet well on the defensive end. Seay will be a prospect to watch in the Shore Conference with his combination of size and touch around the basket.
