What that also means is that there are some hidden gems behind the obvious talented players that recruiters see first. Here are a few talented gems to ltake a look at that play in Region 4 in the Class of 2022.
6’4 G Tanner Hanks Tanner Hanks 6'3" | CG Pleasant Grove | 2022 State UT || Pleasant Grove High School ||
Although Tanner won’t go out and wow anyone in the perimeter he does wow you with his production on the rebounding end and also in the assist category. Tanner sees the floor well and he can see plays developing and he can anticipate his paces to pass teammates open.
6’8 SF Jaiden Feroah Jaiden Feroah 6'9" | SF Corner Canyon | 2022 State UT || Corner Canyon High School ||
One of the best off the radar prospects in the state. At 6’8 Jaiden moves like a guard and he could really transition to a 3/4 at the next level. Jaiden is still somewhat raw in the sense that he could still learnt o play the three at the next level. This gives him a high ceiling. He is a low risk and high reward type of prospect at various levels. Really like his lateral movement on the defensive end of the floor. He also displays a really good touch around the rim and in the mid-range.
6’9 F Bryson Bailey Bryson Bailey 6'10" | C Skyridge | 2022 State UT || Skyridge High School ||
Bryson has really matured his game and it still continues to develop. The long and lanky prospect has a some skills that help him in the trenches down in the paint. Bryson has some good IQ as he is learning t read the defense and contest on shot attempts. He does a good job of cleaning things up near the paint as well.
6’4 G Colby Carter Colby Carter 6'4" | CG Skyridge | 2022 State UT || Skyridge High School ||
Colby is one of those players that does things so quietly but then look at the stat sheet and realize he had 14 points and 13 rebounds. Colby has some skill that allows him to get to the hoop but also get his shots off as he knows how to skill his way into some space between himself and defenders. At 6’4 he has great positional size to do all the little things that make a difference.
6’5 W Bryce Sellers || Lone Peak High School ||
Bryce is an active wing that is one of the glue guys for Lone Peak. He does so much on both ends fo the floor that help his teammates go off. Great team guy.
6’2 PG Kaden Hoppins Kaden Hoppins 6'5" | SF Westlake | 2022 State UT || Westlake High School ||
Kaden is a solid PG that plays on both ends of the floor. Really like that he doesn’t need to score to make those around him better. He dishes out assist through creation but also simply by passing the ball up. Can shoot when needed to nd he can snake his way to the rim. Rebounds well for a PG.
6’4 G Willy Jensen || Westlake High School ||
Great rebounding guard that has some scoring punch. Great looking shot from the outside.
6’5 SF Adam Rawson Adam Rawson 6'5" | SF American Fork | 2022 State UT || American Fork High School ||
Adam is one of those throwback type players that sets screens, rebounds and defends his tail off. Adam plays with intensity and could have an opportunity at the next level with his skillset.
