<p>Henderson Collegiate Junior Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1082588" first="Ellis" last="Williams"]</b> was huge for his team in the second half after they faced a double digit deficit in the first. His perimeter shooting was one of the main ways he impacted the game, knocking down some big perimeter buckets which helped his squad to continue to build momentum.</p> <p>Farmville Central Freshman Guard <b>Mykal Williams</b> was aggressive from the start, getting to the basket to score and draw fouls. He has good end to end speed, and attacked defenders at angles that gave him the best opportunity to score.</p> <p>West Carteret Junior Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1049154" first="Dylan" last="McBride"]</b> was the primary ballhandler for his team but also took on the responsibility of being one of the top perimeter defenders as well. He didn’t have his best offensive showing but his effort should not be overlooked.</p> <p>Henderson Collegiate Senior Forward <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1082590" first="Jarrod" last="Small"]</b> is still a raw prospect but his strength and athleticism allowed him to make a night impact. The 6’5 Forward scored in the paint, ran the floor and battled on the boards at a nice rate throughout the day.</p> <p>Washington HS Freshman Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1220132" first="Javon" last="Williams"] </b>got off to a quick start in their matchup against Wayne Prep. He got out into transition and made some plays above the rim but also scored in the half-court, knocking down some shots from the perimeter. We really like the confidence that he played with and the potential he has to be special.</p> <p>Henderson Collegiate Senior Guard <b>Markel Loyd</b> is the type of player that makes an impact on games more than what his stats suggest. He got after on the defensive side of the ball, defending without fouling and forcing some turnovers. Offensively he didn’t settle for outside shots but instead attacked the paint and used his body to finish. Lastly he does a nice job of getting teammates involved with his facilitating ability.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
