#3 | AJ Swinton AJ Swinton 6'6" | SF Bishop O'Connell (VA) | 2024 State #134 Nation VA | Previous Rank: #6
Swinton has been an impact player on both ends for the Stags throughout this season. Some of his best games have come in the biggest moments. Swinton enjoyed a breakout performance in a win over Westtown at the National Hoops Festival. He’s been shooting the ball exceptionally well from three.
#5 | Drew McKenna Drew McKenna 6'7" | PF Glenelg Country | 2024 #61 Nation MD | Previous Rank: #11
McKenna has been one of the more productive sophomores in the area this season. He took the Flint Hill Tip-Off by storm, pouring in 32 in the opener. McKenna has not slowed down much. It feels like each time he hits the floor, he’s good for 20+ points with extras. McKenna has proven to be a threat from anywhere on the court. His defensive versatility is an added bonus for Glenelg Country.
#7 | Caleb Williams Caleb Williams 6'7" | SF Sidwell Friends | 2024 State #93 Nation MD | Previous Rank: #18
Williams has grown rapidly into an indispensable player for Sidwell. Over the weekend, the 6-foot-7 southpaw sophomore recorded 27 points in a win over Grayson (GA). Williams has in the gym range and can make shots in bunches. He is also a responsible rebounder who helps give the Quakers an edge on the boards.
#13 | Tyler Boston Tyler Boston 5'10" | PG Bullis | 2024 State #291 Nation MD | Previous Rank: #14
Boston has been consistently solid for Bullis during a season in which they have rarely had the full roster intact for a game. While handling a lion’s share of the ball-handling duties, he has done an admirable job initiating offense by hunting paint touches and getting his teammates open shots. Boston is establishing himself as a reliable all-around lead guard. He doesn’t get sped up, is strong at the point of attack defensively, and is also a threat to score from anywhere on the floor.
#15 | Acaden Lewis Acaden Lewis 6'2" | PG Sidwell Friends | 2025 State #149 Nation MD | Previous Rank: #19
Lewis has impressed on multiple fronts throughout the early part of the season. Defensively, he’s becoming much more active and menacing. Lewis has continued to produce as a scorer and facilitator offensively as well. He’s had 10 or more points with extras multiple times this season.
#20 | Ke’Juan Richburgg Ke’Juan Richburgg 5'8" | PG Fairfax Christian | 2024 VA | Previous Rank: #28
Richburg has helped lead Ryken to a promising start this season. His best statistical outing of the season came in a win at the Potomac School where he recorded 17 points and 6 assists. But Richburg has had multiple similarly productive outings in winning efforts. He is gaining as much valuable experience as any lead guard in the area and the gradual improvement that is resulting is evident.
