Jaylan Bowen Jaylan Bowen 5'11" | CG Millbrook | 2022 State NC | 5’10 Guard | Millbrook
Bowen has shown he’s ready for his role as a primary scorer and defender with Millbrook High as they look to repeat as 4A State Champions. He’s averaging 25.0 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 2.0 apg and 1.8 spg while knocking down roughly 4.3 3-pointers per game. He’s emerged a top shooter from behind the arc behind 9-of-13 shooting against Garner in a 38-point outing. He’s a gritty guard that gets after it and waits for his spots to knock down 3-point shots.
Logan Blair Logan Blair 6'5" | SF Harding University | 2022 State NC | 6’5 Forward | Harding University
Blair is a versatile forward that’s averaging a double-double in the Harding University rotation. He utilizes his 210-pound frame well to play the perimeter and post area on both ends of the floor with a ton of presence. He’s producing 20.4 ppg, 10.6 rpg, 3.4 spg and 2.2 apg through their first five games as they’re 5-1. He’s an underrated name in the 2022 class that plays with energy on both ends of the floor.
Chase Lowe Chase Lowe 6'4" | SF Weddington | 2022 State NC | 6’5 Wing/Forward | Weddington
Lowe is another prospect that plays the wing/forward position with a ton of energy for Weddington High. He’s a versatile 6-foot-5 prospect that takes good shots, rebounds in bunches and makes plays for others. He’s putting up 17.8 ppg, 9.2 rpg, 4.2 apg and 3.4 spg while shooting 54 percent from the field. He’s attempted just three 3-pointers on the year, a testament to his ability to score within the midrange and paint area. He also has two double-doubles under his belt. College coaches on the D1 MM and LM levels would be wise to take a look at him.
Daquan Pate Daquan Pate 5'11" | CG New Bern | 2023 State NC | 6’2 Guard | New Bern
Pate has been quite the attacking guard for New Bern High in their 2-1 start to the 2021-22 season. He’s averaging 17.7 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 2.7 apg and 1.7 spg while shooting 51 percent from the field. He’s another prospect in the 2022 class that’s shown his poise with his ability to operate inside the 3-point area and make his presence felt. He’s also a presence on the offensive glass as well with his athleticism.
Jackson Helms Jackson Helms 6'1" | CG Northern Guilford | 2022 State NC | 6’1 Point Guard | Northern Guilford
Helms is a floor general that does well to get his Northern Guilford squad into their offensive sets and when needed, he knows how to turn it on offensively. He’s producing 17.4 ppg, 4.8 apg, 4.0 rpg and 2.2 spg as they’ve won their last four games in a row since dropping their season opener to Richmond Senior High. He’s got solid instincts as a playmaker but also can do the little things like rebound and defend to be an all-around point guard.
