Bryant Pearce | 5’10 Point Guard | East Wake Academy
Pearce is a late-emerging name over at East Wake Academy, whose off to a 4-0 start to the 2021-22 season. He’s a 5-foot-10 floor general that does a solid job of getting his teammates in scoring position as he produces 10.0 ppg, 4.3 apg and 2.3 rpg. He’s capable of playing without the ball as well and will roam to the paint to rebound. He’s a senior leader that has this team performing in a positive direction.
Dwight Canady Dwight Canady 6'0" | CG Hendersonville | 2022 State NC | 6’1 Guard | Hendersonville
Canady is a volume-scoring guard at Hendersonville High that’s having a solid start to his senior season. He’s posting 26.8 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 3.0 apg and 2.5 spg as they’re off to a 4-0 start. He’s a crafty guard that operates on all three levels, shooting 48 percent from the field and 57 percent (12-of-21) from 3-point range so far in 2021-22. Coaches on the DII and DIII levels should take a look at him. He’s a strong guard that can operate in the paint and hold his own as well.
Zay Mayo Zay Mayo 6'1" | CG Southwest Edgecombe | 2022 State NC | 6’2 Point Guard | Southwest Edgecombe
Mayo continues to pick up where he left off during the grassroots seasons (Team DBGH) with Southwest Edgecombe High. He’s a heavy-rebounding guard that’s already snagged 12.3 rpg to go along with his 25.0 ppg and 5.0 apg for his squad. He’s an athletic, wiry guard that pushes the pace but also looks to get others involved and make his presence felt on the glass as evidenced with his two double-doubles already through their first three games.
Marcus Farley Jr Marcus Farley Jr 6'2" | CG Lincoln Charter | 2022 State NC . | 6’2 Guard | Lincoln Charter
Farley is one big reason the Lincoln Charter Eagles are off to a 6-3 start to the season. He’s shown poise with his ability to play off the ball as a threat in the backcourt. He’s averaging 12.4 ppg, 3.1 rpg and 1.5 spg as a two-way presence on the floor with a knack for scoring the ball inside the perimeter and rebounding. He’s an underrated name out in Denver, NC that’s worth college coaches giving a look to.
Dylan Wheatley | 6’4 Forward/Wing | Randleman
Wheatley is another late-emerging prospect over at Randleman High that’s having a solid start. He’s producing 13.5 ppg and 4.5 rpg as a threat on the wing. He’s a prospect that does the little things as the veteran of the group for Randleman and is worth getting eyes on.
