His night was highlighted with 3 monstrous dunks, one off a drop step on a post entry, another on a rip drive, and a third flying on the back side of a zone for an oop. Moala’s versatility is lethal and he is a really tough matchup for anyone. Had a 26 point, 12 rebound performance earlier in the week as well.
Dameion Hatten Dameion Hatten 6'3" | CG Sedan | 2022 State KS , 6’3 G, Sedan, 2022: Has been pouring it on in early season with big time scoring and rebounding outings. The athletic guard lives in the painted area both off drives, cutting, and rebounding the basketball. His ability to defend and get in passing lanes allows him to get out in transition where he thrives, had 26 points in a win last night.
Gunnar Ball, 6’3 G, Perry Lecompton, 2023: The junior guard has been electric and garnering some much deserved attention on the hoops front averaging 20 points and 8 rebounds through 3 games this year. The football star is getting better and better on the basketball court and plays with a ton of enthusiasm. Battled and kept Perry in it for a half against the talented Paola las night where Ball had 25 in the game.
Brayden Meseke Brayden Meseke 6'0" | CG Wabaunsee | 2022 State KS , 6’1 G, Wabaunsee, 2022: Another guard with high expectations this season who has took the ground running and performing at a high level. Led a 4 player in double figure effort form the Chargers last night dropping 17 in a win against Manhattan CHIEF. Meseke really has it rolling right now and is making plays in a variety of ways.
Tristan Friesen, 5’10 G, Sublette, 2022: Hit the shot of the night in probably the game of the night as he drilled a 3 to send it to double overtime against Cimarron, where Friesen would help finish off the win for his squad. He had 23 points in the ball game, and his ability to get to his pull up, and knock down shots was one of the big differences in the game.
