Standouts
6’3 McCaden Adams McCaden Adams 6'3" | CG Pleasant Grove | 2022 State UT || Pleasant Grove High School || 2022 ||
McCaden is a no-brainer at the D2 level. Nothing to think about, someone just needs to get it done. He is way active on the defensive end and he is just a clever player that does a little bit of everything.
6’3 Luke Leatherwood Luke Leatherwood 6'4" | SG Bingham | 2022 State UT || Bingham High School || 2022 ||
With a few of the top NWAC schools on Luke he might play himself into a NJCAA school as he is long and he has positional size at SG position. Is starting to play those lanes that lead to breakout dunks. Luke is a catch and shoot threat that has great elevation on his jump-shot.
6’8 Jaxon Heiden Jaxon Heiden 6'9" | PF Alta | 2022 State UT || Alta High School || 2022 ||
Being able to watch him multiple games at this tourney and Jaxon is a player. Do not get caught up with the amount of points he is scoring that does not show the talent he really is. Jaxon has elite vision and he plays the right way. He is a good trail big that can hurt you from the outside. His interior passing and vision from big to big or to cutters is elite. Jaxon could be a LM find.
6’2 Jake Nadauld Jake Nadauld 6'2" | CG Springville | 2022 State UT || Springville High School || 2022 ||
Stay tuned as Jake has Springville under the radar, maybe right where they want to be. Jake plays with a little chip on his shoulders and he is a shot maker from all over the floor. Really patient as he lines his shots up. Smooth at all three-levels. He’s a sleeper prospect to keep an eye on.
6’11 Bron Boberts || Timpanogos High School || 2022 ||
The thing that makes Bron really stand out is obvious and that is his height. But Bron excels when he is faced with other players at his stature as he found ways to make plays in the mid-post and really like his activity roaming in that 2-3 altering hots and blocking shots as well.
6’2 James Oldroyd || Timpview High School || 2022 ||
21, 13 and 12 to end his run at the Tarkanian. A lot of his shots have been created by the shifty Truman Burningham Truman Burningham 6'2" | PG Timpview | 2022 State UT but he is hitting those three’s that are keeping Timpview in the mix with a lot of teams. James will need to continue to light it up from deep to keep Timpview in the mix this year.
6’6 Souleymane Barro || Layton Christian Academy || 2023 ||
Lanky raw talent that roams the entire game and he is always in the right spots. Slashing SF that runs the floor really well. He can switch 1-5 and he has strength to hold down those bigs as well. Could be a solid NJCAA pick-up.
