Players to Watch:
Anthony Knowles Anthony Knowles 5'10" | CG Mater Lakes | 2025 State #93 Nation FL – Mater Lakes Academy
I believe Anthony Knowles Anthony Knowles 5'10" | CG Mater Lakes | 2025 State #93 Nation FL is one of the top freshman in the area. The 5-foot-11 guard is averaging 11.5 points and 5.5 assists per game for the Bears. Last season, he averaged over 11 points per game for SLAM Miami. Theoretically, Knowles is a sophomore on the court. His playing experience should only help him down the line.
Marvin Golf – Lake Worth
2023 Marvin Golf is a big-time talent. The 6-foot-4 forward is averaging 15.5 points, nine rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. Against St. Thomas Aquinas, Golf scored 18 points and eleven rebounds on 8-of-11 shooting from the field. He has shown he can play with anyone in South Florida. Point guard and team captain Calvin Sirmans is averaging 10.3 points and 6.3 assists per game. The 5-foot-7 floor general dished out ten assists against Jupiter Christian. Lake Worth is 6-2 overall.
Fernando Garrido – Taravella
2022 Fernando Garrido is having a good season for the Trojans. The senior prospect is averaging 16.9 points per game while shooting 45 percent from the floor. Fellow seniors James Dixson (13.3 ppg) and Arturo Meeks (10.6 ppg) are two others players to keep an eye on.
David Delancy IV David Delancy IV 6'5" | CG Somerset Pines | 2023 FL IV – Somerset Academy Pines
The host school has a prospect I’ve always liked. Delancy IV is a 6-foot-5 guard with a solid frame. This kid plays aggressive on both ends of the floor. Delancy has the size to score down the lane and finish with either hand. His length allows him to stretch the floor and knock down shots. He could be a prospect with major upside.
Jason Mark Jason Mark 6'5" | PF Coconut Creek | 2022 State FL – Blanche Ely
2022 Jason Mark Jason Mark 6'5" | PF Coconut Creek | 2022 State FL has that “who’s this kid” feel. The 6-foot-5 wing has a ton of talent without much recognition in my opinion. Mark can move in the open floor and score down low. He is a multi-faceted playmaker on both ends of the floor. Mark can dominant stretches and should take advantage of all his playing time throughout the rest of the season. Watch for backcourt prospects Dez Brown and Armon Forrest Armon Forrest 5'9" Blanche Ely | 2022 FL as well. Both players have speed in the open floor.
