Top Demons
Jenner Smude Jenner Smude 6'4" | SG Century | 2025 State ND (2025)
20 points all in the first half, four 3-pointers. He is a serious 3-point shooting threat. Jenner looks to mainly be a catch-and-shoot 3-shooter. Smude is a skilled player with a very nice mid-range pull-up. I was impressed with his baseline drive and finish. Jenner was very hot in the first two quarters.
Andre’ Austin Andre’ Austin 6'3" | CG Bismarck | 2025 State #388 Nation ND (2025)
6 points, 2-2 ft’s. He is an athletic kid. Austin looks to be a slasher and is good off the bounce. Andre had a tough off-balance finish in the lane that showed great hang time and a nifty finish off the glass with a ton of spin on it. He also showed a nice spin-move. Austin had another nice finish that showed his hang time and he finished it with a scoop shot that went under the defender. Andre also blocked a shot and he grabbed offensive rebounds.
Tanner Groseclose (2025)
13 points, two 3-pointers. He had multiple impressive athletic finishes and he was excellent at kissing the ball off the glass. I was impressed with Tanner’s quick first step. Groseclose showed a smooth runner/floater in the lane. He looks to be a skilled offensive player. Tanner is a high-energy Demon.
Unique White Twin (2025)
9 points, one 3-pointer. He is a long player, with skill, and a good feel for the game. I like the looks of his 3-point shot. Unique has a silky-smooth release, he sets his feet quickly, and he gets the shot off in a hurry. He also showed a crafty scoop-shot around the basket.

Carter Bonogofsky Carter Bonogofsky 5'10" | SG Flasher | 2023 State ND (2023) |5-10 G|
26 points, 0-1 ft’s, four 3-pointers. He is a very nice athlete with skill. Carter was a stud in transition that runs the floor well. He had many points in breakaway situations. Bonogofsky had a nice finger roll finish with a man directly in his face. He is an in-rhythm shooter that nailed triples from the top of the key, the wings, and the baseline. He showed great speed running the floor when Friesz hit him with a bomb, and Carter finished the bucket with ease. This was my first time seeing him play, and it was a great first showing from Bonogofsky.
Jace Friesz Jace Friesz 6'3" | SF Flasher | 2022 State ND (2022) |6-3 F|
22 points, 2-4 ft’s. He is a rebounder and scorer but I was most impressed with his passing. Jace had many great outlet passes and a beautiful fullcourt bomb. You could tell that he was a QB in the fall. Friesz sees the court well and he puts zip on the ball. I like the way he grabs a defensive board and he immediately looks down the court for a deep pass. Jace showed nice moves on the block and was impressive sealing defenders. I liked the looks of his turnaround hook shot. I was impressed with how he fought and tipped rebounds. He had a nice O-board tip and putback on a missed FT. Get ready for Friesz to produce like this every night this season.
Joey Richter (2023) |6-4 F|
22 points, 6-10 ft’s. He had an amazing first half with 17 points. Joey is lanky with arms that seem to go on for days. The Bulldogs did a great job of breaking the press and finding Richter by the basket for easy points. Richter scored the majority of his points after the Bulldogs broke the press. He was great at snagging O-boards and sticking them back in. Richter also scored off a BLOB. I liked how he keeps the ball high and away from the defense when finishing. He has a soft finishing touch.
Javin Friesz Javin Friesz 6'2" | CG Flasher | 2024 ND (2024) |6-1 G|
16 points, 5-8 ft’s, one 3-pointer. I really liked the looks of this kid’s game. He is skilled and well-rounded for a youngster. Friesz is a gifted athlete. Javin has great shooting form on his jump shot. It was easy to see that he is a big-time 3-point threat. I was impressed with how he posted up opposing guards. Friesz was very physical and it looked like he was playing bully-ball on the block. This aggressiveness brought him to the free-throw line. He also had a nice O-board putback. The young Friesz looks to have a very bright future.
Braxton Hatzenbuhler (2022) |6-4 G/F|
10 points. He had an impressive high-low pass. He is a long-player with potential. I liked how hard Braxton ran the court, he was good finishing in transition. Hatzenbuhler is an unselfish player. He had another impressive pass that went across the lane to a teammate for an easy bucket.
Trey Heid (2025) |5-8 G|
9 points, 1-3 ft’s. He is young but you can tell that he is an up-and-comer. Heid had an impressive steal that showed he anticipates well. Trey had a nice AND1 finish that showed off body control. He also ran the court and finished on breakaways. Heid showed off a smooth lefty finger-roll. This youngster has the potential to be a solid role player and contributor for the Bulldogs.
