He’s a strong Guard that has the ability to score from multiple levels but don’t overlook his IQ for the game. On numerous occasions he communicated with his coach about which plays they should run and for the most part those plays ended up being successful. At this point he is still uncommitted and wide open with his recruitment so colleges should be giving him a call as soon as possible.
Vertical Academy Junior Guard Treymane Parker Treymane Parker 6'3" | CG OT Elite | 2023 #169 Nation GA : This was his first time returning back to his hometown with his new school and he did not disappoint. His squad got off to a slower start ,going down by almost twenty points but Parker would be a huge part of their comeback run in the 2nd half. Scoring a game high of thirty-seven Points, Parker hit tough shots, brought a high amount of energy and didn’t shy away from having the ball in his hands in bigtime moments.
Vertical Academy Junior Guard Mikey Williams: He doesn’t need much introduction, as he is a player that gets an extremely high amount of fan and media attention. However the way he handles it all is very impressive, as he keeps the same type of demeanor regardless of what’s going on. When his team needed him to step up, he scored the ball with efficiency, knocking down big shots to finish with twenty-six points.
Liberty Height Senior Forward Josiah Dow: The 6’7 prospect may not have had the most impressive stats over the weekend but the impact he made on both games in numerous ways is something that college coaches will love. He can play with his back to the basket in the paint or step and knock down shots from deep. On defense he showed his ability to defend at solid level without fouling and was constantly communicating every time he was on the floor.
TD Prep Senior Wing Jackson Greene: He was able to make plays inside the paint by using his strength but was just as productive on the perimeter due to the skillset he possesses. The lefty is a prospect that colleges will definitely want to see sooner than later. Not only is he skilled, strong and athletic but the motor that he plays with was one of the highest that we saw all weekend.
CBA Senior Guard Randy Crosby: In their matchup with Vertical Prep on Friday, he stepped up and made some big time plays down the stretch. He facilitated well to teammates and stepped up to score in the 4th quarter and overtime when his team needed it the most. He saved his best for last, knocking down a three point shot at the buzzer to give his team the win.
Fayetteville Academy Senior Guard Amari Pearson Amari Pearson 6'3" | SF Cape Fear Christian Academy | 2022 State NC : You have to love how hard he competes regardless of who his team may be matched up with. From start to finish he was on the attack and would go on to score a game high of twenty-seven points which included a highlight dunk that had social media buzzing.
