Broderick Ellis | 6’8” PF | NC GBB National
Ellis is a very intriguing prospect who is productive and a mismatch with his ball skills at his size and ability to impact the game across the board. He’s a long and athletic forward with good athleticism and the ability to play and guard multiple positions, he can make shots from multiple levels off the catch and off the bounce and he’s a good rebounder as well.
Lureon Walker Lureon Walker 6'4" | SG NC Good Better Best Academy | 2022 State NC | 6’5” CG | NC GBB National
Walker is another intriguing prospect for this GBB group as the athletic guard has a lot of tools that translate to the next level ranging from his size to his dynamic and explosive athleticism off the bounce. He’s a downhill attacking guard who can play well above the rim, he’s shifty off the bounce and can create space to get shots and he brings it on the defensive end too.
Takai Simpkins Takai Simpkins 6'3" | CG Liberty Heights | 2022 State NC | 6’3” PG | Liberty Heights
Simpkins is another available guard who looks like he should have more colleges interested with his dynamic ability and the way he impacts the game on both ends of the floor. He’s an uber athletic guard that can get up and down and thrives in transition, he sets the tone on both ends of the floor and he’s able to both score it and make plays for others with ease as he’s very tough to keep out of the lane. He was huge for them and was very productive leading them to a 2-0 record.
Tajuan Simpkins Tajuan Simpkins 6'4" | CG Liberty Heights | 2022 State NC | 6’4” PG | Liberty Heights
Takai’s twin, Tajuan is also a very impressive guard who is able to make plays on both ends of the floor and plays with a terrific motor on both ends of the floor. The lefty guard can make shots from multiple levels, is dynamic off the bounce and he can play well above the rim as well. He’s another guard who makes winning plays and should see his recruitment continue to grow moving forward.
Josiah Dow | 6’7” PF | Liberty Heights
Dow was as productive as anyone this weekend, as the 6’7” forward showed good versatility as he played all over for his team and was great as a mismatch guy with his size and perimeter skillset. He’s an excellent shooter that can really knock it down from deep, he has the ability to put it on the deck and make passes for others and he can bang in the paint as a rebounder and finisher too.
David Wilkerson | 6’3” WG | Liberty Heights
Wilkerson is another underrated guy on this LHA Varsity team as he showed he can flat out score the basketball and has good size and playmaking ability. He can play on or off the basketball and knows how to get open or create space, he can score it from multiple levels and gets hot quickly and he’s an efficient shooter and finisher in the paint as well.
Chas Stinson | 6’4” WG | Liberty Heights
Stinson was the x-factor for this Liberty Heights group that won two games against very talented teams, as his energy and athleticism allows him to make plays on both ends of the floor. He can play both on or off the ball on the offensive end, he’s a big time athlete who flies all around and can play above the rim and he’s a capable shot maker from multiple levels who produces across the board.
