2026 SUNDAY STUDS
(alphabetically ordered)
Bridger Hansen |6-2 F| Moorhead
He stood out because of his length, strength, aggressiveness, and persistence. Bridger never quit, no matter the score. Hansen showed great hustle and a nose for the ball when rebounding.
Cameron Miller Cameron Miller 6'1" | PG Fargo Davies | 2026 State ND |5-10 G| Fargo Davies
He looks to be a very good athlete. When shooting the rock, Miller has a quick release with good balance. Cameron looked great at pushing the ball in transition and passing it ahead when give the opportunity.
Carter Evanson Carter Evanson 6'2" | SG Horace | 2026 State ND |5-5 G| West Fargo Sheyenne
Much like last weekend, he shot it well from beyond the arc. I like the looks of Carter’s shooting form. He has great confidence when shooting from 3-point land. I was intrigued with the way Evanson scored in transition against bigger defenders. Carter does not back down and he uses his body to shield the defender. His AND 1 finish was impressive.
Collin Williams Collin Williams 6'4" | PF Fargo Davies | 2026 State ND |6-0 F| Fargo Davies
He was excellent at screening and sealing against the zone. Collin was scoring at will when I was watching. Williams showed quick hands when he picked an offensive player’s pocket which led to an easy bucket on the other end for Collin. He showed his strength with an AND 1 finish. I liked how Williams followed his own shot. Collin is a lefty but he can finish with both hands.
Colton Reinke Colton Reinke 6'5" | PF Fargo Davies | 2026 State ND |6-2 F| Fargo Davies
He is a lanky player with long arms and it looks like Colton will keep growing. He is fleet-footed and he moves well. I liked the way Reinke finished around the basket with a soft touch. He has good handles for a big man. Reinke showed off his ball skills in the open court. Colton looked very good screening and sealing against the zone.
Gabe Iverson Gabe Iverson 5'10" | SG Kindred | 2026 State ND |5-4 G| Kindred
He looks to be a very good shooter with a quick release. Gabe was hot this morning from beyond the arc. Iverson is a quick and shifty player. He showed great hustle in transition which led to easy baskets.
Garrett Nissley Garrett Nissley 6'3" | CG Bismarck Century | 2026 State ND |5-10 G| Bismarck Century
He looked great at splitting the zone and getting into the lane for a smooth 1-haded floater. Nissley showed timely anticipation on the wing by tipping a pass and then taking the ball in transition for a tough full-court finish with two defenders on him. This play showed excellent coordination, awesome body control, and extreme focus. Garrett showed off his shooting with a smooth catch-and-shoot 3-pointer. I liked his feet and how his entire body was in rhythm. Nissley has great ball skills with the ability to throw 1-handed passes with either hand. Garrett also has an killer crossover. He was one of the best guards in the gym today.
Major Ness |5-10 G/F| Barnesville (MN)
He is a gifted athlete that moves well. Major’s shooting form looked very good. He shot it well from the free-throw line. I liked his effort, energy, and productivity on the offensive glass.
Preston Hanson |6-3 F| Fertile-Beltrami (MN)
Early on in the game, I was impressed with his anticipation skills on the backside of the zone press. Preston did a nice job of passing out of the post when he did not have a favorable position. I liked the way he moved against the zone and how Hanson found the soft spot to get the ball. Preston was great at cutting across the face of defenders so he could create an angle to receive the pass. He was very aggressive and impressive on the offensive boards. I loved how he kept the ball high when he grabbed a rebound. The young big man has a bright future with the Falcons.
Romeo Mukendi |6-0 F| Moorhead (MN)
He stuck out right away this morning as an athlete. Romeo is a bouncy player with great timing. He blocked multiple shots throughout the first game of the day. I was most impressed how Romeo did not fall for early fakes. He stayed on his feet and he elevated quickly at the last second to erase the shot. Mukendi was also tough on the offensive glass. Romeo also showed off an athletic spin move on the offense side of the ball.
Sam Glandt Sam Glandt 6'2" | SG West Fargo | 2026 State ND |5-11 G/F| West Fargo
You can tell that he has a good understanding of the game. Glandt knows where to cut and how to move against a zone defense. When attacking against the zone, Sam showed an athletic scoop-shot. I liked how Sam moved the basketball against the zone and how crisp his passes were. Glandt showed off his ball skills with an accurate 1-handed baseball pass. His rebounding on both ends of the floor was also impressive. He was one of the best players in the gym today.
Wilmot Matadi Wilmot Matadi 6'0" | PF Fargo Davies | 2026 ND |6-0 F| Fargo Davies
He is a physical and strong player. Besides being an athletic forward, Wilmot has very long arms. I like his aggressiveness and potential.
