John Egan, Bay State Jaguars, Varsity division
John had a really good weekend for the Bay State Jaguars, and earned himself Zero Gravity player of the game on Saturday. John is a very athletic player, and is able to make good plays using his speed and athleticism. John made a lot of very high level finishes at the basket this weekend. He showed his ability to finish through contact, and go up strong to the basket. John is a high volume scorer, and is a playmaker. John did a good job converting his free throws when he got fouled. John is proving he has the game to play at the next level.
Riley Clark, Boston Bobcats Varsity Division, position G/F
Riley is a stretch forward who has a deadly three point shot. Riley had 8 threes in one game this weekend. Riley just couldn’t miss. Riley was able to make tough 3 pointers look easy. Riley does a great job of spacing the floor. Riley is a versatile player, who can impact the game in many ways. Riley has a ton of upside to his game. Riley also played great help side defense, and did a good job staying between the man and the basket. Riley is a player every coach should watch.
Ajay King, Team New England, Varsity division, Position G
Ajay helped lead his team to a championship, and undefeated weekend. Ajay is a high level guard, with a very quick first step. Ajay is a scorer, who made a lot of big shots this weekend. Ajay also rebounds the ball very well for a guard. Ajay had a strong weekend for team New England, and is making a good name for himself this fall.
Alex Mogan, NYBC Elite, Varsity division, Position F
The stretch forward had a very strong Weekend for NYBC Elite. The NYBC program has really improved since there inarguable season last spring. Alex hit some big threes from the outside this weekend, and also made some big shots from the paint. Alex is aggressive, and a good finisher at the rim. Alex also had a few baskets on the pick and roll. Alex also did a very good job against the opposing teams zone defense. He was good in the middle against the zone, and also did well when running the baseline.
