2022 Bryson Metz Bryson Metz 5'11" | PG Union | 2022 State WA | 5’8 PG | Union HS
Easily one of the best PG prospects at the showcase; true floor general. Bryson has such a good feel for the game. He knows when to play fast and when to slow it down. He’s a great passer that is always scanning the floor; he made nice kick-ahead passes, pocket passes, and even some no-look passes this weekend. When Metz wants to score, he can and will. His handles are tight and he’s super shifty. He has great body control and can stop and change directions seamlessly with the ball. He has good bounce and can finish at the rim explosively. Not a bad middy pull-up either.
2022 Mike Foust | 6’3 SG | Kelso HS
Mike was one of the most well-rounded prospects at the event. He did a little bit of everything for his team– assist, rebound, score, and defend. He is a sneak athlete and would’ve had the play of the day had he connected on his poster attempt. 3-level scorer; he can shoot the 3, get to his middy, and finish at the rim with either hand. He is a good defender that can defend multiple positions. Coaches, this kid is a sleeper in 2022.
2022 Rome Hendrickson | 6’1 SG | Mark Morris HS
Rome is a pure shooter and major catch-and-shoot threat. He was easily one of the top shooters at the showcase. He hit threes off kick-outs and off-ball screens. He moved well without the ball and found open spots. Defenders were constantly put in long closeout situations. Most of the time he shot it in their face, but there were a few times when defenders closed the space fast forcing Rome to make a play; he had a nice floater in the paint and also made some nice passes.
2022 Colton Looney Colton Looney 6'6" | PF Skyview | 2022 WA | 6’6 SF | Skyview HS
Really high-IQ player. He doesn’t hunt shots, he just takes what the defense gives him. He is an efficient player because he takes good shots and plays within his skillset. Looney isn’t overly athletic, but he has long arms and reads the ball well which allows him to snag rebounds. His shooting ability makes him a huge threat in pick-and-pop situations.
2022 Justice Taylor | 6’1 G | Lakewood HS
Slashing guard with a wirey frame. Always looking to get downhill. Taylor weaved his way through defenders all weekend. He found himself at the rim often and did a good job of forcing defenders to foul him resulting in a lot of free-throw attempts. Although he didn’t shoot many jumpers, he showed that he was capable from 3pt range.
2022 Hayden Rose | 6’6 F | Prairie HS
Crafty and savvy are two words that came to mind after watching Hayden hoop. He has good size and a nice skillset. He isn’t fast by any means but plays with a lot of fakes and pivots keeping defenders off balance. He is patient when playing in the paint which is a skill you don’t often see at this level. He did a good job of drawing fouls too.
