They have a starting lineup with all Division 1 bound players. The players coming off the bench are also in line to put themselves in a position to be recruited at a high level as well. Wasatch Academy plays a national schedule and they are going to be int he discussion all year long as one of the best teams in the country. Roddy Gayle Roddy Gayle 6'4" | SG Wasatch Academy | 2022 State #70 Nation UT is as good as they come out on the wing and the Ohio State commit has that “It” factor that can take them all the way.
Then we move to the new kid on the block in RSL Academy who is in the infant stage of one of the best independent teams in the country. At the helm is Coach David Evans. After his departure at Wasatch Academy he is slowly building a national power as well. Darvyn Gibbs-Lawhorn is a players name to remember. This kid is electric and he is the right person to usher in a new dynasty over at RSL Academy
Davis High School has another bullseye on their backs as they will be lead by stellar guard Rex Sunderland Rex Sunderland 6'4" | PG Davis | 2022 State UT who plays on both ends of the floor. He is likely to bolster his stock with excellent play this year. With quite a few teams representing Region 4 here are the players that make them tick. Yaw Reneer Yaw Reneer 6'5" | CG American Fork | 2022 State UT at American Fork can defend and switch on anyone and hold his own. Tyler Burraston Tyler Burraston 6'4" | SG Corner Canyon | 2022 State UT can shoot lights out against anyone at anytime for Corner Canyon High School. Sticking with shooters down the way is Westlake that has a shooter of their own in Dylan Jones Dylan Jones 6'6" | SG Westlake | 2022 State UT who can get hot and make some impossible shots.
Olympus HighSchool has one of the best and well balanced teams and are led by Jack Wistrcill Jack Wistrcill 6'8" | PF Olympus | 2022 State UT who is a load and is skilled. Juan Diego Catholic and Layton Christian Academy are some of the private schools that will have some fun playing in 3A and they have some international talents that are being highly recruited.
Farmington High School will be a fun show to watch as Collin Chandler Collin Chandler 6'5" | CG Farmington | 2022 State #28 Nation UT will lead the way for that team. Bingham High School will be a team to fear as they have players that can go off at any game. Luke Leatherwood could be a fun athletic shooting guard to watch as he has picked up some small school offers.
Alta looks to build something new behind big man Jaxon Heiden Jaxon Heiden 6'9" | PF Alta | 2022 State UT who could score at all three levels. Skyline High School has three snippers on the squad and are led by Kolton Smith Kolton Smith 6'4" | SG Skyline | 2022 State UT who is in range when he crosses half-court.
